Urbanovich Pulls Even With Beauprez

Level 15 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

With just two players remaining on the {10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop, Dzmitry Urbanovich had checked out of the big blind and the bet worth 18,000 by John Beauprez from under the gun was folded back to Urbanovich. He then check-raised the pot and Beauprez mulled it over for a longer time to then settle for a fold.

Haiduc Wins Huge Double From Jaros

Level 14 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

With over 300,000 in the pot on a completed board of {10-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}, Patrik Jaros moved all in from the small blind into Florin Haiduc in the big blind.

Jaros had Haiduc covered by about 60,000 so Haiduc's decision could end his tournament or put him among the chip leaders.

After about a minute of contemplation, Haiduc pushed a stack of chips forward.

Jaros showed {7-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} for two pair, sixes and fives. Haiduc tabled {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} for a better two pair, kings and deuces to take the massive pot and vault his stack over 700,000 heading to break.

Medarov Gets Short Again

Level 14 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Four ways to the {9-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} turn, Kris Burchfield bet 25,000 and was called only by Vasil Medarov on the button while Ben Yu from under the gun was among the players to fold.

The {2-Clubs} on the river was checked and Burchfield announced a queen before revealing his {q-Spades}{j-Spades}{8-Hearts}{3-Hearts}. That won the pot as Medarov sent his cards into the muck.

One hand later, Medarov repotted to 47,000 and Roee Shalom called. The flop brought {q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and Shalom bet the pot, Medarov reluctantly folded.

Stout Shortened by Burns

Level 14 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Matt Stout raised to 10,000 under the gun and was called by Stephen Burns in the big blind.

On a flop of {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{5-Hearts}, Burns check-called a bet of 22,000 from Stout.

The turn brought a board-pairing {j-Diamonds} and again Stout bet, this time to the tune of 60,000.

Burns responded with a check-raise for Stout's remaining 65,000 and the poker philanthropist quickly folded.

Salazar Approaches A Million in Chips

Level 14 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Aden Salazar
Aden Salazar

On the tail end of a larger pot to the {a-Spades}{10-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{3-Hearts} river with around 150,000 in the middle, Aden Salazar bet 135,000 on the button. The action had checked to him by Christoph Csik, who eventually opted to call all-in.

Salazar rolled over the {k-Spades}{j-Spades}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for the nuts and Csik briefly showed his cards before tossing them into the muck and heading out of the tournament area.

It appears that Salazar is near the top of the leaderboard and just a few further small pots away from reaching a seven-figure stack.
