Affleck Wins With Aggression

Level 1 : 100/200, 200 ante
Matt Affleck
Matt Affleck

The hijack player opened for 500 and was called by the small blind before Matt Affleck three-bet to 2,500 from the big blind.

Only the hijack called and action went heads-up to the {6-Clubs}{10-Spades}{q-Diamonds} flop.

Affleck continued for 1,000 and that was all it took for him to take down the pot after his opponent quickly folded.

Laplante Gets a Fold

Level 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

The flop showed {a-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} in a raised pot with three players involved when Ivan Galinec checked and the cutoff bet 800. Ryan Laplante, on the button, made the call and Galinec folded.

The {a-Diamonds} turn brought two pair on the board and this time the cutoff check-raised to 3,600 a bet worth 1,600 from Laplante, who quickly called.

A {3-Clubs} hit the river and it was checked to Laplante who bet 2,200. The cutoff snap-folded and Laplante added the chips to his stack.

Leonhirth Wins Pot Off Somerville

Level 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

Jason Somerville opened to 600 from the hijack and John Leonhirth in the cutoff called, as did the button and big blind.

Somerville bet 1,200 on the flop of {j-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and Leonhirth quickly raised to 2,400. The other players in the hand folded and Somerville called.

Somerville checked on the {2-Hearts} turn and called when his opponent threw out another bet of 2,400. Somerville checked again on the {3-Clubs} turn and his opponent checked back.

"Jack," Leonhirth said before tabling {j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} for top pair to win the pot.

Desantis Shows a Deuce, Talbot Folds

Level 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

Laura Desantis opened from late position to 500 and action folded to Andy Talbot in the big blind, who made the call. The flop came {3-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} and Talbot checked to his opponent, who fired out a continuation bet of 500.

Talbot went for a check-raise to 1,200 and Desantis called. The turn was the {5-Spades}, and Talbot bet out this time for 2,000 and received a call. When the {2-Diamonds} turned over on the river, putting three diamonds on the board, Talbot checked and Desantis bet 6,000. Talbot pondered his decision for a moment before folding.

Desantis showed the {2-Spades}.

Gediminas Uselis
Gediminas Uselis

Gediminas Uselis raised to 500 in early position and the big blind defended.

The dealer spread a flop of {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}{8-Hearts} and the big blind checked to Uselis before he continued for 400 and the big blind came along.

The {2-Diamonds} hit the turn and once checked to, Uselis fired out a bet of 1,000 and that was enough to take down the pot.
