Second Heads-Up Pot for Spurlin

Level 32 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Tommy Le raised the pot to 720,000 and Jordan Spurlin defended the big blind and big blind ante. The flop fell {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and Spurlin checked, which triggered a bet worth 800,000 by Le and a fold by Spurlin.

After earning yet another pot, Le pulled into a three-to-one lead.

Spurlin then limped in and Le checked it back to see the {10-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop for free. Le checked to Spurlin who bet 400,000 and the call of Le followed. The {k-Clubs} followed on the turn and Le checked once more, this time prompting a check back of Spurlin.

After the {q-Diamonds} river, both players checked it down and Spurlin won the pot with {10-Spades}{8-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} as Le had missed a straight draw with {k-}{6-}{4-}{4-}.

Chris Sandrock Eliminated in 3rd Place ($324,800)

Level 30 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Chris Sandrock
Chris Sandrock

Jordan Spurlin raised the pot to 700,000 on the button and Chris Sandrock repotted to 1.7 million in the big blind. Spurlin then moved all-in and Sandrock called for the last 3.21 million.

Chris Sandrock: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{9-Hearts}
Jordan Spurlin: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Diamonds}

The {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}{7-Spades} flop left Sandrock on thin ice as one of the tens for his gutshot was dead. It was all over on the {q-Clubs} turn as Spurlin filled up to aces full and that made the {2-Spades} river a formality. Sandrock's roller coaster ride ended in third place and he takes home $324,800.

After being the far shortest stack half an hour ago, Spurlin enters heads-up against Tommy Le with a narrow chip lead.
