Le Further Extends Lead

Level 27 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Artem Maksimov raised to 250,000 and Tommy Le repotted to force a fold from Maksimov.

Le then raised to 200,000 on the button and Chris Sandrock called. The flop brought {k-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and Sandrock led for 200,000, which Le called. On the {3-Diamonds} turn, Sandrock slowed down and checked, as did Le. They also checked the {10-Clubs} on the river and Le's {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{8-Hearts} were the winning hand.

Le and Sandrock Tangle Twice

Level 27 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Tommy Le raised to 200,000 on the button and Chris Sandrock defended the big blind. On a flop of {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{7-Spades}, Sandrock checked and Le bet 200,000. Sandrock was not willing to continue and the first pot of the final day went to the chip leader.

Le then limped in the cutoff and Sandrock raised the pot to 325,000 in the small blind. After 11 seconds of consideration, Le called and the flop came {9-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts}. Sandrock made it 500,000 to go and Le sent his cards into the muck after some 41 seconds.

It’s the final day of Event #45: $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship as the latest World Series of Poker champion will be crowned in the Amazon room. Only the final five players remain from a field of 344 entries, with each of them locking up $168,689 plus a shot at the gold bracelet and top prize of $746,477.

Leading the way is 2017 event winner Tommy Le (7,240,000), playing at his eighth WSOP Pot-Limit Omaha final table and looking to better his runner-up finish in Event #39: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha (8-Handed) just last week. Le was responsible for the final elimination of Day three when he knocked out four-time bracelet winner Eli Elezra in sixth place.

Russia's Artem Maksimov (5,080,000) sits second in chips, followed by casino owner Chris Sandrock (3,200,000) and Jordan Spurlin (2,885,000). Two-time bracelet winner Jeremy Ausmus (2,235,000) is the short stack entering Day four, as the tournament resumes with 10:29 remaining in level 27 at blinds of 50,000/100,000 with a big blind ante of 100,000.
