Bercovici Over 10 Million

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Volodymyr Drokin raised to 135,000 from early position, Hari Bercovici called in middle position and Shannon Shorr called from the small blind. The {6-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{A-Hearts} flop got checked to Bercovici, who bet 200,000. Two quick folds followed and the Argentinian stacked up even more.

With the pot, Bercovici now sits at one of the biggest stacks in the room with 11,350,000.

Rean Picks Off a Big Bluff From Beylin

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante
Nirath Rean
Nirath Rean

With over a million in the pot on the river and the board showing {5-Spades}{5-Hearts}{2-Spades}{9-Spades}{3-Spades} Nirath Rean put out a bet of 500,000. Konstantin Beylin was the other player in the hand and he thought for a bit before he made a raise to 1,500,000.

Rean dropped into the tank and he continued thinking as ESPN cameras gathered around. He thought for nearly three minutes before he eventually made the call.

Beylin appeared to be turning his hand into a bluff, sensing that his {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} was no good because Rean was holding {6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for a rivered straight. With that pot, Rean moved over seven million chips while Beylin was left with just over four million.

Antoine Labat
Antoine Labat

Ryan Rivers opened to 125,000 from the hijack, Steven Adams reraised all in from the button for 1,230,000 and Antoine Labat four-bet shoved from the big blind for 2,730,000.

Rivers called instantly and tabled {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}, leading Labat's {K-Spades}{K-Clubs} and Adams' {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}.

The board came down {K-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{J-Spades}{3-Hearts}, giving Labat a set of kings to eliminate Adams and double through RIvers.

Obst Doubles Through Dyer

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Samuel Bernabeu opened the action with a raise to 130,000 from under the gun and James Obst called from middle position. Michael Dyer on the button made it 525,000 to go and Bernabeu let go after some consideration. Obst moved all in for more than 2 million and Dyer called instantly.

James Obst: {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}
Michael Dyer: {Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts}

On the {7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flop, Obst picked up a flush draw and Justin Harvell added "wow, good for the cameras." The Aussie instantly improved to a winning flush with the {2-Diamonds} turn, making the {K-Clubs} river a formality. Obst doubled for 2,180,000 and Dyer took another hit to his stack.

Minkin Takes One More Before Break

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Benjamin Pollak opened with a raise to 140,000 and he was called by Kelly Minkin in the small blind.

The flop came down {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} and Minkin checked to Pollak who put out a bet of 130,000. Minkin called.

Both players checked on the {9-Spades} turn to see the {6-Diamonds} on the river. There, Minkin led for 235,000. Pollak dropped into the tank but didn't end up calling, so Minkin took down the pot.

Ace-King Into Aces Again Eliminates Chris Da-Silva

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante
Chris Da-Silva
Chris Da-Silva

For the second time today Chris Da-Silva saw himself in an unfortunate spot and got ace-king up against pocket aces. However this time he was unable to come out the other side with chips.

The dealer informed us that Da-Silva raised to 135k from under the gun, and Peter Campo three-bet to 350k from the hijack. Kao Saechao was on the button and cold called before Da-Silva moved all in. Campo, who had both players covered, called and Saechao was unsure of his decision. Talking out loud he was unsure of what to do and ultimately open folded {a-}{k-}. Da-Silva winced when he saw the hand and also tabled {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}, and saw Campo reveal {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}.

The flop came down {5-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{4-Spades}, and Da-Silva stood up from the table and saw his fate sealed on the {j-Clubs} turn to exit just before the first break of the day.

The U.K.'s Da-Silva takes away $66,330 for his efforts.

Shorr Clips Qutami Before the Break

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante
Shannon Shorr
Shannon Shorr

In the last hand before the break, Shannon Shorr and Danny Qutami played a hand that left the latter behind with a mere 95,000. The board was reading {K-Spades}{8-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{A-Spades} and on the river, the last 845,000 from Shorr went in. Qutami had instantly called it off.

Shorr showed {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts} and a disgusted Qutami flung {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} open for the underfull. After the hand, the field went on break and chips were racked up as Shorr's table will be one of the featured tables after the break.

Jukich Loses a Lot to Lynskey; Busts Gazlay Next Hand

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Nils Tolpingrud's raise from the hijack was called by Alexander Lynskey in the cutoff and Mike Jukich in the big blind. On the {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{7-Hearts} flop, Jukich checked and so did Tolpingrud, Lynskey bet 225,000 and just Jukich called. After the {7-Diamonds} turn, Jukich check-called a bet worth 475,000 and checked once more on the {A-Diamonds} river.

Lynskey made it 1,650,000 to go and Jukich gave it some consideration before tossing a single chip in for the call. Lynskey turned over the {A-Clubs}{J-Spades} for aces full of jacks, and Jukich mucked his {A-Spades}{7-Clubs} for the inferior full house face up.

In the next hand, the last one of the level, Brayden Gazlay moved all in for 805,000 and Jukich reshoved out of the small blind to isolate successfully.

Brayden Gazlay: {A-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Mike Jukich: {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}

This time, the board came {J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} and Gazley was eliminated while most other players had already gone on their first break of the day.
