Gooch Drops Some to Miles

Level 29 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante

Tony Miles opened in early position with a raise to 250,000 and Jason Gooch three-bet in the hijack with a raise to 750,000. Action folded back to Miles who called.

On the {Q-Hearts}{6-Spades}{3-Diamonds} flop, Miles checked to Gooch who put out a bet of 475,000. Miles thought for a bit, then called.

Both players checked on the {9-Hearts} turn and the {3-Spades} river and Miles showed down his {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} that allowed him to take down the pot.

Ubaid Habib Eliminated in 47th Place ($156,265)

Level 29 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante

Nirath Rean raised to 260,000 and Ubaid Habib three-bet all in for 2,145,000 from the big blind. The pair had a lively conversation back and forth before Rean slammed the chips down in the middle to call.

Nirath Rean: {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Ubaid Habib: {q-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

"Oooh, dominated," said Alexander Haro.

The flop came {j-Spades}{a-Spades}{2-Spades}.

"I need your king, you need my ten," said Rean. The turn {9-Hearts} gave Rean extra outs to send Habib home. The river {8-Spades} was one of them, with Rean rivering his straight to eliminate Habib.

James Obst Eliminated in 46th Place ($156,265)

Level 29 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante
James Obst
James Obst

A raise to 300,000 by Aram Zobian was followed by the three-bet shove of James Obst for approximately 3.1 million and once again Zobian called instantly when it was his turn to act.

James Obst: {A-Spades}{7-Spades}
Aram Zobian: {K-Clubs}{K-Spades}

The {9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} flop was of no help, but the Aussie picked up a sweat on the {6-Clubs} turn.

"Seems fair," Zobian said.

The {6-Hearts} on the river, however, was of no help for Obst, and he departed in 46th place for $156,265.

"Good game, it was nice playing with you," Zobian added and continued his hot streak after the previous break to send yet another opponent to the rail.

Ricky Pyne opened for 300,000 in the cutoff and Ming Xi defended big blind. Xi checked the {5-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} flop and Pyne bet 325,000. Xi raised to 925,000. Pyne responded with an all-in shove. Xi got a count of 3,020,000, thought about two minutes, and slid in calling chips.

Ming Xi: {6-Spades}{6-Clubs}
Ricky Pyne: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

Pyne was way ahead but the {6-Diamonds} emerged right away for Xi. The river was the {8-Hearts} and Pyne took his leave in 45th.

Phan Hits a Flush to 10 Million

Level 29 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante

Ryan Phan raised from the button to 260,000 and Ricardo Souza called in the small blind before Frederik Jensen three-bet to 1.1 million. Phan went into the tank and thought through his decision before he made the call and Souza folded.

The flop came down {2-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{2-Spades} and Jensen continued for 1.2 million. Phan went all in for 3.7 million, and Jensen called.

Frederik Jensen: {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Ryan Phan: {k-Spades}{q-Spades}

Phan was behind but had outs with his two overcards to the flop and flush draw. The turn was the card he needed as he hit the flush with the {J-Spades}. The {A-Hearts} river didn't change the situation, and Phan doubled to 10 million.

Labat Flops the World

Level 29 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante
Antoine Labat
Antoine Labat

Jeff Trudeau raised to 275,000 in early position, Antoine Labat called on the button, and Aram Zobian called from the big blind. On the {9-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{J-Clubs} flop, Zobian checked, Trudeau bet 375,000, Labat called, and Zobian folded.

The turn brought the {A-Hearts} and Trudeau checked. Labat bet 875,000 and Trudeau called.

The river was the {7-Diamonds} and Trudeau checked again. This time, Labat opted for a quick bet of four oversized T-500,000 chips. Trudeau thought around 90 seconds before calling it off.

Labat turned over {J-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for the flopped boat and Trudeau slid his hand in the muck.

Barry Hutter
Barry Hutter

On a {j-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} board, Barry Hutter plonked a bet of two million chips into the middle and Paulo Goncalves didn't take long before making the call.

Hutter showed {a-Hearts}{j-Spades} and that was good enough to take down the pot, chipping up to just shy of 12 million.

Another One for Zobian

Level 29 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante

Antoine Labat made it 275,000 to go from the hijack and Aram Zobian on the button three-bet to 925,000. Artem Metalidi called in the big blind and Labat sent his cards into the muck. Both remaining players checked down the board of {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} entirely and Metalidi rolled over the {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}.

Zobian had that beat with the {K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} and raked in another pot.
