Waxman Folds Turn

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

On the turn with the board reading {7-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{2-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} and roughly 25,000 in the middle, Maged Botros checked from the small blind over to Matt Waxman under the gun who bet 13,500.

Botros responded with a check-raise to 30,000, and after a lengthy deliberation, Waxman folded.

Smith Takes From Deeb

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

The board read {8-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{q-Spades} and there was already around 45,000 in the middle. John Smith had bet 15,100 from the hijack and Shaun Deeb was up for the decision. After considering all his options, Deeb called.

The {k-} completed the board and both Smith and Deeb checked. Smith showed {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for the flopped pair of eights and that was enough to get Deeb to muck his hand.

JC Tran Squeezes

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

A player in middle position opened to 5,100, Tom Hall called from the button, and after a bit of time in the tank, JC Tran three-bet shoved from the small blind. The original raiser folded and Hall did the same shortly thereafter.

"I know I'm supposed to raise there," said Tran as the dealer pushed the pot his way. "I'm good at flips."

He showed {A-Spades}{K-Clubs} and he stacked his newly acquired chips.

Saechao Doubles Through Kruk on the River

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

With around 21,000 in the middle and the completed board reading {q-Spades}{8-Spades}{5-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{3-Spades}, the action was on Kao Saechao in the big blind. Saechao led out for 13,000 and Kruk pushed in a raise to 44,000.

Saechao thought for a minute and then shoved all in for 132,700. Kruk leaned back in his seat in disbelief and needed some time to think. A few minutes later, Kruk made the call and Saechao turned over {a-Spades}{4-Spades} for the nut flush. Kruk's cards went to the muck and Saechao earned a full double up.

Russell Picks Off Flowers

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Three players saw the turn on the {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{4-Spades} board and the action checked around. The river was the {a-Hearts} and Frank Flowers led out with a bet of 22,000 into a main pot of about 40,000. Matt Russell called and after giving it some thought the player on the button folded.

"Just a jack" said Flowers and Russell turned over his {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds} to take the pot. "Your call made me fold ace queen" said the player on the button as Russell stacked his chips.

Cada Gets a Shove Through on Cho

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Picking up the action after what looked like a three-bet on the button from Arden Cho to 13,700, action folded to the Joe Cada in the big blind. Cada thought for a bit then moved all in with his stack for 85,500 and Cho dropped into the tank.

"I think it's a flip," Cho says, still thinking through the hand. She shuffled some chips in her hand as she contemplated the call.

"I think I have the best hand," Cho said after about a minute. As she spoke she pushed her cards forward and let go of her hand.

With that, the former Main Event champion took down the pot and chipped up to a bit over 100,000 chips.

Gustafson Calls Down Rheem

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Chino Rheem opened to 4,200 from early position and Keith Gustafson called from the big blind. The flop came {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{3-Spades} and Gustafson check-called a bet of 5,000 from Rheem.

The turn was the {4-Hearts} and Gustafson checked again. Rheem tossed in a bet of 7,500 but Gustafson stuck around to see the {k-Spades} on the river. Gustafson checked one more time and Rheem splashed in 25,000. Gustafson thought for a brief moment and made the call. Rheem tabled {q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} but it wasn't enough to beat Gustafson's {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}.

More Casualties From Amazon Tan

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Lauren Kling doubled a second time while Adam Goldberg was unable to beat the {A-Spades}{K-Clubs} of Jason Casale on a board of {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{6-Clubs}{5-Spades} to depart from the very same table. Justin Kotula vanished and his former seat was filled by Barny Boatman while Stephen Ekin was ousted by Ralph Perry.

Ekin was all in preflop with the {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades} and Perry turned over {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}. The {K-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} flop made things all but official and Ekin was drawing dead on the {4-Hearts} turn, the {4-Spades} river was a formality.

William Kassouf chipped up slightly early on, winning a pot off Alex DiFelice, and the clock was already called on the Brit.
