Marchese and Lybaert Drop Some

Level 6 : 300/600, 100 ante

On the river of a completed board of {J-Spades}{9-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{5-Spades}{7-Clubs}, Brian Twitty and Jeffery Hobrecker checked out of the blinds and Tom Marchese bet 2,500 on the button. Twitty folded and Hobrecker check-raised to 15,000 to force a fold from Marchese.

Bart Lybaert was involved in a three-way pot to the {7-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{6-Spades} turn and called a bet of 5,000, as did a third player in the hand. Only Lybaert called a bet of 17,000 on the {K-Hearts} river and mucked when his opponent showed the {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds} for a straight.

Schindler Builds Stack Without Showdown

Level 6 : 300/600, 100 ante
Jake Schindler
Jake Schindler

Ted Lawson raised to 1,500 in the cutoff and Henry Fewster called on the button, as did Jake Schindler in the small blind. On the {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop, action checked to Fewster and he bet 1,000, which only Schindler called. Both checked the {2-Spades} on the turn and Schindler bet the {A-Spades} river for 10,000.

Fewster only had 15,700 behind and folded after some consideration.

Papazyan Wins a Small One

Level 6 : 300/600, 100 ante
Art Papazyan
Art Papazyan

Art Papazyan raised to 1,400 from late position and Zev Mandel called on the button. Both players in the blinds folded their hands and they went heads-up to a flop.

Papazyan continued with a bet of 1,100 on the {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} flop and the player on the button called. The turn was the {A-Clubs} and both players checked this time and the {2-Hearts} river completed the board. Papazyan fired 3,100 this time and that was enough to make Mandel fold his hand.

Hachem Folds on the River

Level 6 : 300/600, 100 ante
Joe Hachem
Joe Hachem

A sizable pot had emerged until the river of a board {10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{J-Clubs}{A-Spades} with around 40,000 in the middle and James Slattery bet 13,000. Joe Hachem was sent into the think tank and engaged in some table chat.

"What have you got? Some jack ten nonsense? You are having fun, eh? Check-raising me every hand," Hachem said and barely got a response from Slattery. After giving it some thought, Hachem folded and was shown the {A-Diamonds}.

"You are playing good," Hachem said when it was all over and dropped below the starting stack.

Deeb Bombs the River

Level 6 : 300/600, 100 ante
Shaun Deeb
Shaun Deeb

Picking up the action on the turn with the board reading {q-Spades}{j-Hearts}{4-Spades}{9-Hearts}, Shaun Deeb was first to act in the big blind. Deeb tossed in a 5,000 chip into a pot of around 6,000 and his opponent called from the hijack.

The {q-Clubs} on the river paired the board and Deeb reached back for a bet of 23,000. That sent his opponent back into his seat, as he sat with his hands on his head for a minute. He eventually made the call and Deeb flipped over {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} for a full house. His opponent nodded his head in approval and Deeb scooped the pot.
