Elezra Gets Lucky

Level 6 : 300/600, 100 ante

On a {2-Hearts}{3-Spades}{j-Hearts}{k-Clubs} board, Eli Elezra check-called a bet of 3,600 and the river was the {7-Clubs}. Both he and his opponent checked.

"Pair of sevens," said Elezra, showing {6-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for a missed flush draw and pair of sevens. His opponent mucked and he took down the pot.

Frankenberger Runs Out a Flush

Level 6 : 300/600, 100 ante

Andy Frankenberger raised to 1,500 from under the gun and Robert Macdonald called from the small blind. The flop came {a-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} and Macdonald checked to Frankenberger who continued for another 1,500. Macdonald instantly called and the {q-Diamonds} landed on the turn.

Macdonald checked again and Frankenberger checked behind this time. The river was the {3-Diamonds} and Macdonald checked one more time. Frankenberger threw in a bet of 4,000 and Macdonald quickly called. Frankenberger turned over {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for a flush and Macdonald was left with a look of surprise.

"Nice catch," he said to Frankenberger who quietly raked in the pot.

Gonzales Doubles Through Gentili

Level 6 : 300/600, 100 ante

On a four-way flop of {A-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{3-Spades}, Michael Gentili bet 2,200 after two other players had checked to him and Danny Gonzales moved all in for 16,700 in total. Gentili gave it some thought and called with the {A-Spades}{J-Spades} to see Gonzales turn over {3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} for bottom set. The {Q-Spades} on the turn was a sweat for Gonzales, but the {8-Diamonds} river was a blank.

Leng "Winning Every Pot"

Level 6 : 300/600, 100 ante
Ryan Leng
Ryan Leng

Ryan Leng opened to 1,200 from middle position and David Theodosopoulos three-bet to 3,500 in the cutoff. Leng made the call and a {6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} flop was delivered.

Leng check-raised a bet of 7,000 to 16,000 on the flop and Theodosopoulos flatted. The {3-Hearts} hit the turn and Leng continued for 11,700.

The {6-Clubs} completed the board and Leng bet enough to put Theodosopoulos at risk, effectively 41,000. Theodosopoulos went into the tank.

"Will you show if I fold," asked Theodosopoulos.

"You can't ask that sir," responded the dealer. Which then sparked a debate at the table about the rules in the situation.

"You're so much better of a player than I am," Theodosopoulos continued.

Eventually, Theodosopoulos would find a fold, showing the table the {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}, and Leng dragged in the pot.

"Winning every pot, this guy," shouted a neighbor at the table.
