Level 10 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Some new players have joined the tables here in the Miranda room from the Pavilion room. One of them is David Cabrera who took 450,000 in chips with him and looks to be the new chip leader here in this room for now. Cabrera is seated at the same table as Andrew Brokos and David Swift.

Jachtmann Forces His Opponent Off a Chop

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

On a {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} board a player checked to Jan-Peter Jachtmann who bet 10,000. His opponent was agonizing over a decision when we got to the table.

"You have a king?" asked Jachtmann, and his opponent nodded.

"You seem like a really nice trustworthy guy," said his opponent. "Maybe I'm the biggest nit in history."

Jachtmann's opponent had around 120,000 behind.

"It's not your tournament life," said Jachtmann.

"I was 100% folding, but this speech might have just got to me," said his opponent before eventually folding. Jachtmann showed {k-Clubs}{j-Spades}

"Thank You Jesus!"

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Gabriel Abusada was in a four-way three-bet pot where all players had paid 15,000 preflop.

The flop came down {6-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} and it checked around to the player on the button. He pushed all-in for 45,000 and Gabriel Abusada pushed all in as well for his final 12,700. Another player called and the fourth player folded his hand.

Abusada was pacing back and forth through the Amazon purple section when he had to open up his hand and the other players already did. The player on the button was holding {A-Spades}{A-Hearts} and the third player in the hand had {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts}. When Abusada came back to the table he didn't want to open up his hand, but after a couple seconds he opened up {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}.

The dealer completed the {6-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} board with the {5-Diamonds} turn and {4-Diamonds} river and Abusada jumped up and started screaming around the entire purple section in the Amazon room.

"Thank you Jesus! Oh my god, I'm back. Thank you, Jesus, thank you!"

The table was surrounded by cameras and a lot of players stood up from their chairs to check out what just happened. The player with aces won the side pot and Abusada kept yelling "Thank you, Jesus!" around the room.

Shalmi Sends One Out Easily

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

A few hands after showing a bluff with five-high, Devon Shalmi opened to 3,500 on the cutoff. The button and the small blind called. The player in the big blind three-bet shoved for 73,000. Shalmi made the call.

Devon Shalmi: {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
Opponent: {j-Spades}{8-Hearts}

The board ran {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{3-Spades}{5-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and Shami won the pot, sending his opponent to the rail.

Metalidi Adds Some More

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

The flop read {3-Clubs}{7-Spades}{4-Hearts} and there was already 33,000 in the middle. The player in the big blind had checked, Artem Metalidi bet from the hijack. The big blind raised and Metalidi called.

The turn came with the {4-Clubs} and Metalidi bet enough to force the check-fold of his opponent.

Hall Fires the River

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Under the gun, Tom Hall checked the {3-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} flop and his opponent bet 7,000 from middle position. Hall called and they knuckled the {J-Spades} turn to let the {9-Spades} river land for free. Hall then threw in 18,200 and that was enough to collect the chips as his rival gave up.

Dahlberg Doubles Through

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Kory Kilpatrick has been eliminated some time ago and Johnathan Dahlberg took over his seat. Just now he ended up all in and at risk for 58,000 on a flop of {A-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} and Timothy Lau put him at risk with the {7-Clubs}{4-Clubs}. Dahlberg was ahead with the {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds} and the {10-Hearts} turn and {J-Clubs} river run out brought no upset.

Bernabeu Well Over 400k

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Samuel Bernabeu has been hovering around 400,000 for most of the latter half of the day and he just chipped up further after taking down a pot with a bet on the river.

The board read {j-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and his opponent checked. Bernabeu bet 8,000 and his opponent, with only 11,500 behind, eventually folded.

Waxman Bigstack No More; Painter Busts to Cho

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

It appears that the vast majority of Matt Waxman's stack moved over one seat to Brandon Bowyer while Brian Borne added some more chips to cross half a million in chips and take the lead narrowly ahead of Ryan van Sanford. On the latter's table, Michael Weissmann three-bet shoved pocket eights into pocket kings and was eliminated in the last level of the night.

The same fate also awaited Jameson Painter. He raised and then faced a three-bet to 9,500 by Arden Cho on the button. Painter four-bet all in and Cho asked for a count. Once it was determined to be another 34,500 on top, Cho called.

Jameson Painter: {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Arden Cho: {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}

Painter was ahead but suddenly didn't want to see a ten appear anymore after the {K-Clubs}{J-Spades}{3-Diamonds} flop. The {5-Hearts} turn, nothing much changed, however, the cruel {10-Diamonds} on the river sent Painter to the rail.
