Krasienko Builds Stack

Level 2 : 150/300, 0 ante

Adam McCoskey and Mike Krasienko were involved in a battle of the blinds and the flop showed {J-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{4-Hearts}. McCoskey checked over to Krasienko, who bet 2,100 and picked up a call. On the {2-Clubs} turn, McCoskey checked once more and Krasienko bet 3,200. Without saying a word, McCoskey grabbed a T-5,000 chip and several smaller chip denominations and put in 5,200.

Krasienko verified with the dealer that this was a forced min-raise to 6,400 and put in as many chips, McCoskey also filled up. On the {10-Diamonds} river, McCoskey's bet of 4,200 was quickly called by Krasienko and he claimed the pot with {A-Spades}{J-Spades}.

Lascell Wins Big Three-Way Pot

Level 2 : 150/300, 0 ante

A loud scream by Roger Mack alerted the live reporting team to head over to table 475 and indeed a large pot had built already with the board showing {A-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{4-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}. More than 48,000 were in the middle and Mack had checked out of the big blind. Timothy Gundrum bet 5,000 from early position and Daniel Lascell called with few chips behind in the cutoff.

"They gotta have me beat, eh?" Mack said in table chat and put his opponents on ace-king and ace-ten of spades. He mucked and his cards flashed over, showing {9-}{8-} for a missed straight draw. Gundrum rolled over the {A-Clubs}{K-Spades} and Lascell scooped the pot with the {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}.

Mack continued to talk about how he knew what the opponents had and that he had to call with his straight draw to get a possible big payday. Once the dealer push took place at the end of the hand, Mack turned to the dealer and said "I know you meant to" and shook his hand with a lot of enthusiasm.

Hall Extracting Chips From His Opponents

Level 2 : 150/300, 0 ante

Tom Hall opened to 750 from the button and an opponent in the big blind called his raise. The flop came down {k-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} and both players checked to the turn that came the {j-Clubs}.

The big blind player bet 800, Hall made the call and the {k-Spades} hit the felt on the river. The action was checked to Hall who bet 2,400, his opponent quickly called and Hall turned over {k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for rivered trips.

His opponent mucked and Hall continues to add chips to his stack early on Day 1b.

Sexton Takes From Farber

Level 2 : 150/300, 0 ante

On a flop showing {7-Spades}{9-Spades}{j-Spades} and with a pot already containing over 4,000, Mike Sexton bet 2,500 from the big blind before calling the raise for 7,000 from Jay Farber on the button.

The turn {2-Spades} brought no betting action and the dealer showed a {j-Diamonds} on the river. Sexton first checked, and called a last bet for 5,000 from Farber. The latter turned over {10-Spades}{8-Hearts} for the straight and the flush, but it wasn't enough to win the pot, facing {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades} in Sexton's hand for a better flush.
