Daniels Looks Through the Bluff of Busquet

Level 2 : 150/300, 0 ante

While most tables were already vacated with the players headed into the dinner break, one big pot was brewing in the purple section. There were 24,500 in the middle with a completed board showing {J-Clubs}{9-Spades}{6-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} and Olivier Busquet bet 12,000 out of the small blind.

Jake Daniels was in the think tank and checked his stack carefully before tossing in the call. Busquet, who had been staring at the middle of the table without saying any word, rolled over {A-Spades}{8-Spades} for a bluff and Daniels showed his {K-Spades}{J-Diamonds} for a pair of jacks, jumped out of his chair and high-fived a friend that was watching on the rail.

"Did you see that call?" he asked, stacked his chips and headed out to grab something to eat.

Bruso Bounces Back With Cowboys

Level 3 : 150/300, 25 ante

An opponent raised to 925 from late position and David Paredes made the call from the cutoff. Dallus Bruso bumped it up to 3,000 from the big blind, the initial raiser folded, and Paredes stuck around.

The dealer fanned out {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}{j-Hearts} on the flop and both players checked. A {6-Diamonds} fell on the turn, Bruso threw out 3,000, and Paredes made the call.

The river came the {9-Hearts}, both players checked, Bruso tabled {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades} for kings up, and Paredes mucked his hand.

Westenberg Chips Up Through Lewis and Hamati

Level 3 : 150/300, 25 ante
Toby Lewis
Toby Lewis

James Westenberg raised preflop from late position to 800 and Toby Lewis called from the button. Big blind George Hamati called as well and the {J-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{K-Hearts} flop came down.

Hamati checked to Westenberg and he bet out 1,700. Both Lewis and Hamati called and the {8-Spades} turn rolled off the deck. Hamati checked again and Westenberg fired again with a bet of 2,500. Both of Westenberg's opponents called the bet, as on the previous street, and the {K-Clubs} completed the board.

This time Westenberg made it 5,000 and both Hamati and Lewis folded. Westenberg took down the pot without showdown and started stacking his chips.
