Lester Edoc Eliminated in 9th Place ($48,157)

Level 32 : 60,000/120,000, 15,000 ante
Lester Edoc
Lester Edoc

Hand #10: It folded to Lester Edoc in the small blind and he completed. In the big blind, Francois Tosques moved all in to put Edoc to the test, and Edoc quickly called for his remaining stack of around 1.9 million.

Tosques: {K-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Edoc: {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts}

Edoc was in the lead, but the {10-Clubs}{4-Spades}{K-Clubs} flop favored Tosques. The {10-Hearts} turn and the {A-Hearts} river couldn't save Edoc and he was eliminated in ninth place. He takes home $48,157 for his finish in the tournament.

Hands #6-9: Douglas Closing in on Chip Lead

Level 32 : 60,000/120,000, 15,000 ante
Richard Douglas
Richard Douglas

Hand #6: Erwann Pecheux raised to 250,000 in early position and Richard Douglas three-bet to 800,000 in the cutoff. Pecheux called after the other players folded, and they saw a flop of {2-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{J-Spades}.

Pecheux checked, Douglas continued for 1 million, and Pecheux mucked his hand. That pot brought Douglas within striking distance of Pecheux.

Hand #7: Francois Tosques raised to 250,000 in middle position and Chris Staats called in the big blind. Both players checked the {4-Spades}{7-Hearts}{6-Spades} flop and on the {A-Clubs} turn, Staats check-folded to a bet of 350,000 from Tosques.

Hand #8: Tosques raised to 250,000 in early position and the remaining players folded.

Hand #9: Sung Joo Hyun raised to 275,000 in late position and took down the blinds and antes.
