Kaneoya showed {K-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} for two pair, kings and sevens, but Wei's {7-Hearts}{6-Clubs} for trip sevens earned him the pot.

Erwann Pecheux Eliminated in 8th Place ($62,299)

Level 35 : 120,000/240,000, 40,000 ante
Erwann Pecheux
Erwann Pecheux

Hand #59: Erwann Pecheux open-shoved 3,700,000 from the cutoff. Francois Tosques reshoved 5,120,000 on the button. Jon Hoellein thought for a minute before folding in the small blind and Richard Douglas folded as well.

Erwann Pecheux: {A-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Francois Tosques: {K-Clubs}{K-Spades}

Both Frenchmen, also teammates, gave each other the 'nothing we can do' stare. The {8-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{J-Hearts} flop gave Pecheux a double gutter to go with his ace. The {2-Spades} was a brick and the {2-Clubs} on the river was one likewise.

Tosques and Pecheux hugged and the latter walked off the stage shortly after.

Hand #56: Richard Douglas raised to 500,000 in middle position and Renato Kaneoya called on the button. Douglas continued 700,000 on the {9-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{4-Clubs} flop and Kaneoya called.

Douglas checked the {5-Clubs} turn, Kaneoya bet 2,000,000 and Douglas folded.

Hand #57: Jon Hoellein shoved all in for 2,070,000 from under the gun. Guoliang Wei also shoved all in for 8,150,000 and all other players quickly folded.

Jon Hoellein: {A-Spades}{10-Spades}
Guoliang Wei: {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}

The {A-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{9-Spades} flop directly brought the ace Hoellein needed. The {7-Spades} on the turn was not the two-outer for Wei and neither was the {5-Spades} river. Hoellein doubled up.

Hand #58: Sung Joo Hyun raised to 575,000 in middle position, Hoellein three-bet shoved from the big blind, covering Hyun, and the South Korean quickly folded.
