Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 800 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo

Four players put in 20,000 on the turn and saw the river make the final board {10-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{k-Clubs}. The blinds checked and Joey Couden shoved for about 95,000. Dario Sammartino called on his left and each showed down the nuts: {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{j-Spades}{9-Spades} for Couden and {a-Spades}{2-Spades}{j-Clubs}{3-Hearts} for Sammartino.

Matusow Doubles Through Rogers

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 800 ante
Mike Matusow
Mike Matusow

PL 2-7 Triple Draw

Mike Matusow defended big blind from an Aaron Rogers open and took two, with Rogers taking three.

"I'm gonna look at one and I'm gonna pot it," Matusow said.

He put in the requisite chips and Rogers called for 12,500. Both players took one and Matusow moved in dark for about 15,000. Rogers called and they both took one again

Aaron Rogers: {6-}{4-}{3-}{2-}
Mike Matusow: {7-}{5-}{3-}{2-}

Rogers flipped over a nine so Matusow needed to improve. He squeezed his holding.

"Nothing across, I can't win," Matusow declared.

Seconds later, though, he flipped over the {4-Hearts} for the nuts. He apologized profusely and whipped out his glasses, saying he couldn't see properly and would be wearing them going forward.

Rogers Almost Breaks the Winner, Eventually Pats to Bust Clements

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 800 ante

PL 2-7 Triple Draw

Scott Clements and Aaron Rogers got the money in before the second draw where Clements patted and Rogers drew one.

Rogers then took some time before figuring out whether to draw again or stand pat.

Eventually, he decided to pat and Clements already knew his fate.

"Nine's good," he said, exposing {10-}{8-}{7-}{4-}{3-}.

Rogers indeed had a nine, showing {9-}{7-}{6-}{5-}{2-} for the winner.
