Recent Eliminations

Level 6 : 200/400, 100 ante

Pot-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

Max Kruse needed to hit on the final draw against Jan Suchanek to stay in the tournament. Suchanek had made his eight with {8-}{7-}{6-}{5-}{3-}, but it was the worst eight and Kruse was drawing live with {8-}{5-}{4-}{2-}

As he peeled he told the table that it was a no-spotter, but it was an ace and he was eliminated.

Pescatori Chips Up Through Baker

Level 6 : 200/400, 100 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

In a four-way limped pot on {10-Spades}{4-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}, it checked to David "ODB" Baker who bet 1,400 and Max Pescatori raised pot. The other two players folded.

Baker wrestled with his decision before open-mucking {q-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} for two pair.

"You were behind," said Pescatori, who chipped up to more than double starting stack.

Racener Vying for Chip Lead

Level 6 : 200/400, 100 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

On a {6-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{7-Spades} board, Dan Zack bet 1,500 and John Racener quickly called.

Zack pointed at Racener who obligingly turned over {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{j-Hearts}{7-Clubs} for two pair and Zack rechecked his hand before mucking.

Racener's stack of over 50,000 looks like it could be among the chip leaders in the room.

Owen Doubles Up Through Foxen

Level 6 : 200/400, 100 ante
Adam Owen

No-Limit 5 Card Draw

It folded around to Alex Foxen on the big blind. Foxen put in a bet of 1,200 and Adam Owen pushed all-in for 9,525. Foxen decided on a call and Owen announced he was drawing three. Foxen drew two and they opened up their hands.

Adam Owen: {J-}{J-}{J-}
Alex Foxen: {K-}{K-}

Owen immediately opened up {Q-}{5-} and Foxen needed to catch a king. He revealed the {8-} and {2-} so his only hope was the final card he was dealt, but that was the {4-} to double up Owen.

Zinno Doubles Through Zack

Level 7 : 250/500, 125 ante

No-Limit 2-7 Lowball

Dan Zack moved all in from under the gun for 7,600. It folded to Anthony Zinno in the big blind who called all in for his last 4,675.

Both players drew one.

Dan Zack: {10-}{8-}{7-}{3-}
Anthony Zinno: {9-}{8-}{3-}{2-}

"Draw a ten," said Zack, and Zinno drew a {10-}. Zack peeled his card revealing that he was 50:50.

He turned over a {3-} to pair and Zinno doubled up.
