Hong Can't go Wrong

Level 12 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

After a raise to 2,500 and a call, Peter Hong three-bet to 6,200 out of the small blind. The initial raiser grabbed his bigger domination chips and four-bet to 24,300 before calling the all in shove from Hong. Hong had by far more chips and also the better hand in {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}, whereas the opponent turned over the {K-Spades}{J-Hearts}.

"I run so bad," the opponent whispered after the board completed with {5-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{3-Spades}{8-Clubs}.

Cousineau Busts One

Level 12 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

The original raiser moved all in for just a bit more and Cousineau called with {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}. His opponent tabled {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} and the board ran out {6-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{k-Hearts}.

The Shark is Biting

Level 12 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Humberto Brenes raised and then tanked after two short stacks had moved all in. He asked the dealer for a count and as it was about 10,000 to go, Brenes made the call with {9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}. He faced {Q-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} and {A-Spades}{10-Spades}, the board ran out {5-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and the short stacked opponent tripled up.

It was a break even play for Brenes though, as he knocked out the other player and has a well-above average stack.
