Bertrand Grospellier got the action started during a recent hand by making it 22,000 from the button. Ryan Fair in the small blind then moved all in for about 180,000 and Andrew Lichtenberger in the large blind also moved all in for about 205,000. ElkY got out of the way and we had a heads up showdown.

Fair needed a jack in order to gain control of the hand. Unfortunately a board ran out and he was subsequently eliminated.
Eddie Blumenthal was first to act under the gun and made it 22,000 to anyone who wanted to see a flop. On his direct left was Alexander Nudin, who three-bet to 100,000. The table folded back to Blumenthal who moved all in on his short stacked opponent. A call was made and both players tabled their hole cards.

Blumenthal held a strong lead, and looked to be in great shape to deliver the knock out blow. A flop brought further a further sense of confidence in Blumenthal. A on the turn, and a on the river sealed the deal, and Nudin was sent packing
Craig Bergeron opened from early position, found one caller and was then moved all-in on from Thiago Nishijima from the big blind for his last 230,000. Bergeron called and hands were revealed.
