Denny Shoves into Trips

Pejmanpatric Eskandar open-limped from his button, drawing a raise to 50,000 from the small blind and a re-raise to 150,000 from the big blind, Thomas Denny. Only Eskandar called the second raise. When the flop came all big cards, {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}{a-Clubs}, Denny shoved for 320,000. Eskandar snap-called with trip aces, {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}, bad news for Denny's pocket queen. The turn and river were bricks to send Denny on his way.

Lodden Thinks Aces Are Good

With the board showing {J-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{4-Spades}{5-Diamonds}, Johnny Lodden bet 190,000, and Ryan Eriquezzo made the call. The river then brought the {Q-Spades}. Lodden thought a moment, then bet 300,000, and once again Eriquezzo called.

Lodden tabled {A-Spades}{A-Hearts} and Eriquezzo mucked. Eriquezzo has 945,000 at the moment, while Lodden continues his solid Day 6, moving to 2.6 million.

A Savage Elimination

Following a raise from Matthew Schreiber on the button, Craig Savage moved all in for his last 375,000 from the big blind with Schreiber making the call.

Savage: {A-Hearts}{2-Hearts}
Schreiber: {A-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}

The board was spread {9-Spades}{7-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{10-Hearts} to pair up Schreiber and eliminate Savage from the tournament. Schreiber is up to 2.36 million.

Fast Start for Kostiuk

On the first two hands of the main feature table, Gary Kostiuk moved all in to pick up both the blinds and antes along with a preflop raise of Sergey Rybachenko.

Kostiuk has virtually doubled his stack, and now sits on over 450,000 in chips.

Bink! Tran Doubles on the River

New chip leader Robert Pisano is putting his chips to work already. He opened for 40,000 with {2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} and then called trying to eliminate Theo Tran after Tran shoved for 155,000 with {a-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}. Tran didn't hit the {4-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{9-Spades} flop, nor did he pair with the {3-Clubs} turn. Down to his last card, Tran paired aces {a-Clubs} and gave a short fist pump. He's up to about 325,000 now. Pisano still has about 5.5 million.
