After fourteen hours of play, the final eight has been whittled down to a final two.

The two players will be returning tomorrow . . . err today . . . at 7:00 pm PST where they will play the second match of the best-of-three series to see who will be crowned the Event #35 Champion!

Down to just 130,000 -- less than a big blind -- Ernst Schmejkal was all in with against Ayaz Mahmood's . The board came , and Schmejkal was back to 260,000.

It sounds like the players have agreed not to continue beyond this match tonight. Indeed, there was talk about bagging the chips right now and returning tomorrow to finish out Match #1, but it appears that's not going to happen.
Both have agreed that 7 p.m. tomorrow is a good time to resume their battle. We should see fairly soon who of these two will be returning with a 1-0 advantage.
