Play Paused Until Tonight!
After fourteen hours of play, the final eight has been whittled down to a final two.
The thirty-fifth bracelet of the 2010 World Series of Poker was supposed to be presented today, but after a heads up match between Ayaz Mahmood and Ernst Schmejkal that lasted over six hours, play has been paused for the night with Mahmood in the lead with a win under his sleeve.
The two players will be returning tomorrow . . . err today . . . at 7:00 pm PST where they will play the second match of the best-of-three series to see who will be crowned the Event #35 Champion!
Make sure to join the extremely tired PokerNews Live Reporting Team tomorrow as we provide all the live updates from this very intense heads up battle!
