Luke Graham Eliminated in 6th Place ($40,029)

Level 30 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Luke Graham - 6th Place
Luke Graham - 6th Place

Luke Graham opened to 120,000 on the button, William Looper three-bet to 305,000 from the big blind, and Graham responded with a four-bet all in. Looper quickly called the 900,000-chip bet, and the hands were tabled.

Graham: {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Looper: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

The flop fell {9-Spades}{4-Spades}{7-Diamonds}, giving Looper backdoor straight and flush draws, and the turn was the {8-Spades}, keeping both draws and taking away Graham's jack outs. The {3-Diamonds} bricked on the river, and Graham was eliminated.

Looper is now our overwhelming chip leader with around 4.4 million chips.

David Grandieri Eliminated 7th Place ($30,974)

Level 30 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
David Grandieri - 7th Place
David Grandieri - 7th Place

David Grandieri entered Day 3 as the chip leader. Unfortunately for the one-time big stack, he has officially run out of chips.

Jonathan Tamayo opened to 105,000 and Mark Rose flatted from the next seat over. It folded to Grandieri who moved all in for about 800,000 total. Tomayo folded and Rose announced a call.

Rose: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Grandieri: {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}

Grandieri was crushed and needed help to survive. Unfortunately for him, the board ran out {4-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades}{9-Diamonds} and he was forced to settle for a 7th place finish and the $30,974 that accompanies it. Rose, on the other hand, is sitting on a solid stack of 2.05 million.

Chris Hyden opened to 80,000 in the cutoff seat, Luke Graham three-bet shoved for 405,000 in the big blind, and the action was back on Hyden. He sat quietly for 90 seconds or so, then announced, "call."

Hyden: {j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Graham: {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}

Hyden's hand was crushed, and Graham doubled as the board ran out {8-Spades}{k-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades}{5-Diamonds}.

Graham: {A-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}
Looper: {9-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}

Taken For a Loop

Level 29 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

The flop read {9-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and David Grandieri checked. William Looper tossed out 95,000 only to have Grandieri check-raise to 235,000.

Looper would not be deterred, though, as he came right back over the top for 675,000 total. Grandieri quickly released and Looper took down the pot. Looper has roughly 3.45 million to Grandieri's 950,000.
