Stephen Song

With about 30,000 in the middle the flop read J32, and Jon Vallinas checked from the big blind to Stephen Song in the cutoff as he fired 23,000. Vallinas made the call.

The 10 fell on the turn, and Vallinas checked once again to Song who didn't slow down, dropping 100,000 across the line. Vallinas took about 15 seconds before matching the bet.

When the 6 landed on the river, Vallinas checked for a final time and Song took a few seconds before splashing a bet of 375,000 into the middle. Vallinas went deep into the tank, taking just shy of three minutes before deciding to let his cards go.

Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

A completed board of A842K was spread across the felt and Daniel Negreanu was seen pushing his entire stack of 358,000 into the middle.

There was already around 350,000 in the pot as he was heads up with Georgios Karakousis in a bloated pot. Karakousis asked for a count and gave it some thought but eventually decided to toss his 22 in the muck.

After pleading with Negreanu to show his hand, the seven-time WSOP bracelet winner finally caved by flashing his 53 from the big blind.

In a heads-up pot on a flop of 84K, Aleksejs Ponakovs checked in early position and Michele Lawson bet from middle position. Ponakovs check-raised to ~300,000 and Lawson called.

Action was four-way before Mustapha Kanit fired 20,000 from under the gun on the JQK board. Eric Afriat was the only caller in the hijack, as the two players saw the 5 turn flipped over.

Kanit led out again for 80,000, only to see Afriat announce a raise to 210,000. After taking some time, Kanit called and the dealer revealed the 8 river.

After Kanit checked, Afriat bet 225,000. Kanit took some more time before opting to lay it down.

Foxen Staying Active While Keeping an Eye on the Feature Table

Level 6 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Kristen and Alex Foxen
Kristen and Alex Foxen

Kristen Foxen is seated just shy of the feature tables where the $100,000 Triton Main Event is currently taking place. While trying to build chips on her own table, Foxen is also keeping an eye on the chip counts posted right above her where her husband Alex Foxen is currently leading with just five players remaining.

After facing a raise to 20,000 from Vytautas Semaska, Foxen three-bet to 55,000 from the hijack. Semaska called and the flop of K63 hit the felt. Semaska checked to Foxen who continued with a bet of 40,000 and Semaska called.

The K paired the board on the turn and both players checked to the Q on the river. Semaska led out with a bet of 100,000 and Foxen quickly called. Semaska showed AQ and Foxen held AQ for the same hand and a chop, although Foxen had been free-rolling with the flush draw.
