Suvarna's Jam Gets Through

Level 5 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Action folded to Santhosh Suvarna in the cutoff who raised, and once it folded to Biao Ding in the small blind, he three-bet to 27,000. It folded back to Suvarna who made the call.

Suvarna then called a bet from Ding for 45,000 after the 285 flop, and a bet of 80,000 after the J on the turn.

The river brought the K and Ding checked to Suvarna who bet all in for his stack of 130,000. Ding gave it some thought before tossing his cards in the muck, giving the pot to Suvarna.

The flop came 226 and Ketzer check-raised to 45,000 over Adamszki's bet of 10,000. Adamszki made the call.

On the A turn, Ketzer sized down with a bet of 14,000 and Adamszki called.

The river brough the 8 and Ketzer bet again, this time for 18,000. Adamszki called and mucked his cards when Ketzer turned over AK for two pair, aces and deuces with a king kicker.

Mullur Takes from Kulev

Level 5 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Samuel Mullur opened the hijack to 8,000 and Joao Vieira called on the button. In the big blind, Alex Kulev three-bet to 48,000. Mullur called while Vieira quickly folded.

On the 433 flop, Kulev continued for one-third as he bet 36,000 and Mullur put in the call.

The 8 turn checked through to the 5 river which saw Kulev lead for 135,000. Mullur wasted little time before he put in the call.

Both had an overpair to the board but the jacks of Mullur were best as he scooped another pot.

Sturm's Two Pair is Best

Level 5 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Leon Sturm raised from early position to 8,500, which was call by Sam Greenwood in the cutoff, and the big blind Alex Foxen.

The flop came 7J7 and all three players checked to the 9 on the turn. Foxen then bet out 24,000, which Sturm called, and Greenwood folded.

After the K on the river, Foxen sized down to 12,000, and Sturm made the call. Foxen tabled AJ for two pair, jacks and sevens, but Sturm had the winner when he turned over J9 for two pair, jacks and nines.

Peters Trips Up Koon to Double

Level 5 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Heads-up to a completed board of J7664, David Peters and Jason Koon had created a pot of 130,000.

Peters checked the river from the cutoff to Koon on the button who jammed for 54,000 effective as the covering stack and Peters snapped it off.

Peters's trip sixes were good against the top pair, top kicker of Koon as he found the full double and left Koon short.

David Peters opened to 7,000 from under the gun and was called by Fedor Holz in middle position and Moonho Seo in the hijack. In the cutoff, Kazuyuki Tanemura three-bet to 35,000. Then, Samuel Mullur in the big blind announced all in for 281,500. Peters jammed for 391,500. Holz and Seo folded quickly before Tanemura requested a count and used a time bank before making a painful fold.

It was the most classic of flips with the J105 flop giving Peters additional outs. However, the board ran out 42 and Mullur got the full double in the one of the largest pots of the day so far.

Thomas Muehloecker raised 7,000 from early position, and when it folded to Mario Mosbock on the button, he three-bet to 21,000. It folded back to Muehloecker who made the call.

The flop came 3K2 and Muehloecker check-called a bet of 10,000 from Mosbock.

Both players checked the 5 on the turn, which brought the 4. Muehloecker then bet out 14,000, which got a quick fold from Mosbock to give the pot to Muehloecker.

Pannucci Doubles Through Suvarna

Action went three-ways to a flop of 5J6 in a three-bet pot between Masashi Oya who was under the gun, Santhosh Suvarna in the hijack, and John Pannucci in the big blind.

Pannucci led out with a bet of 70,000, Oya folded, and Suvarna made the call. On the 9 turn, Pannucci moved all in for 179,500, putting himself at risk. Suvarana thought for a moment before flicking in the call.
