Boatman Rivers Full House to Crack Popov's Straight

Barny Boatman raised from early position and Angel Popov called from the big blind.

The flop came Q♣J♦K♥. Boatman continued for 14,000 and Popov raised to 40,000. Boatman reraised to 100,000, Popov moved all in for around 240,000 and Boatman called.

Boatman showed Q♦Q♠ for a set of queens, but Popov had A♣10♦ for the straight.

The turn came the 8♥ and the J♣ river gave Boatman a full house to crack Popov's straight and win the pot. Popov was eliminated from the tournament.

The hand brought Boatman into the top ten players in the chip counts.

Action was on the flop on a board of 8♦6♥2♦ and two players moved their chips into the middle. Sutharsan Ariyanayagam shoved with a shorter stack and was called by Tamer Kamel.

Ariyanayagam had K♦10♦ for a flush draw with overcards, while Kamel flipped over J♠J♣ for pocket jacks.

The turn came the 3♠ and river the 6♠. Kamel held to win the pot and bust Ariyanayagam from the tournament.

The flop came A♣8♣6♦. McKola checked and Bereciartua bet 14,000, which McKola called. Both players then checked it back on the Q♦ turn.

The river was the 10♦ and McKola led for 28,000. Bereciartua called and then mucked his hand when McKola showed A♦5♦ for the ace high flush.

The board ran out 7♣5♦Q♥3♣4♠. It was a sick runout. Bascombe made a set of queens on the flop, leaving Sandford drawing very thin. Sandford picked up a backdoor straight draw on the turn and completed his straight on the river.

He let out a cheer as the four fell on the river, scooping a double up and leaving Bascombe short.
