Action was picked up on river on a board of 3♥2♣5♠8♣3♦. Barny Boatman jammed from under the gun for 182,000 and was called by his opponent, who had him covered. Boatman showed 2♦2♥ for a full house to win a huge pot early.
A couple of orbits late, action was on the flop on a board of K♠4♣3♠. Boatman shoved the flop against his short stacked opponent and Angel Popov called. Boatman had 9♥9♠ and Popov flipped over A♦A♠. The turn came the 10♦ and river the K♣. Popov held to double his stack.
Mauro Suriano open shoved from early position for 25,500 and was called by Renato Do Vale Lordao, who had him covered as players flipped their cards.
Mauro Suriano: A♣7♥
Renato Do Vale Lordao: A♦K♦
The board ran out 3♥A♠2♠4♠7♦. Both players paired their ace and Lordao was ahead with his king kicker until the river gave Suriano two pair, aces and sevens. He won the pot and doubled his stack.
A few hands later, Lordao was involved in another pot that ended up costing him the rest of his stack. Action was on the turn on a board of 5♥9♦Q♠4♦. Lordao bet 8,000 and Kent Roed raised it up to 25,000, which was more than half his opponent's stack. Lordao shoved and Roed called.
Lordao had Q♣J♦ for a pair of queens, but Roed had K♠Q♥ for a pair of queens with a higher kicker. The river was the 3♣ and Roed held to double his stack.
Lardao let out a groan and wished Roed good luck as he gathered his belongings to take his leave.
