Day 1c of the PokerStars UKIPT London Main Event, running at the Hippodrome Casino, has now concluded. It was by far the busiest and most bustling flight of the tournament, with 334 entries and 50 of those making it through to Day 2.

Atanas Pavlov of Bulgaria topped the flight with 867,000, while Vitalie Grecul finished Day 1c in second place with 693,000. In third was Tobias Kirby-Hogarty with 512,000.

PokerStars ambassadors Alex Romero (98,000) and Marle Spragg (237,000) also bagged for Day 2.

Day 1d also concluded tonight. Victor Caballero Pinna of Portugal came first in the flight with 882,000, giving him the overall chip lead.

All four starting flights have now concluded and combined entries totalled 725. This made for a prize pool of £696,000, which will be shared among the 108 players who return for Day 2 already in the money. The top prize has already been confirmed at £127,600.

Johnson Busts Two Players With Pocket Aces

Alex Romero opened the action with a raise to 8,000, Dmitrijs Kozlovskis called, then Philip Baker moved all in for 52,000. Kitete-Kikumba Johnson then called in the small blind, Romero folded, and Kozlovskis put the rest of his chips in the middle with a short stack to make it a three way all in.
