Steffen Sontheimer Eliminated in 5th Place (HKD3,793,000/$483,171)

Peter Jetten raised to 200,000 with the {K-Spades}{10-Hearts} and Mikita Badziakouski in the small blind three-bet to 650,000 from the small blind. Steffen Sontheimer jammed out of the big blind and Jetten instantly folded.

"I am not happy about it, but I am not getting away from it as it seems," Badziakouski said while asking for a count on the shove. "Wow, that's really annoying," he added when it was deemed to be for 3,030,000, but called it off by using two time bank extensions.

Steffen Sontheimer: {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}
Mikita Badziakouski: {J-Hearts}{J-Spades}

The {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs} flop failed to improve Sontheimer, not did the {7-Spades} turn. The {7-Diamonds} on the river was a blank as well and the German bumped fists with Badziakouski before heading to the rail. Sontheimer will take home HKD3,793,000 ($483,171) for his efforts.

Even More for Badziakouski

Level 21 : 50,000/100,000, 15,000 ante

After scooping a pot with pocket sevens against Rui Cao without showdown, Peter Jetten defended his big blind against a raise to 200,000 by Mikita Badziakouski with the {10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} in the big blind. Badziakouski flopped best with {A-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} on {A-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and Jetten checked, Badziakouski continued for 175,000 and that ended the hand right there.

Jetten filled up from the small blind with the {9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and Badziakouski checked the {10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} in the big blind. The {10-Spades}{7-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop brought a bet of 175,000 by Jetten with his straight draw and Badziakouski opted to raise to 500,000, while Jetten called. On the {4-Spades} turn, Jetten checked and Badziakouski let his shot clock run down to a few seconds before betting 450,000. That ended the hand right there, as Jetten folded.

Ivan Leow jammed for 1,485,000 on the button and Peter Jetten moved all in over the top for 1,865,000 from the small blind.

Ivan Leow: {A-Diamonds}{2-Spades}
Peter Jetten: {A-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

The {Q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop improved Leow, but the {J-Diamonds} turn and {3-Hearts} river run out gave Jetten a flush to send Leow to the rail in 6th place for HKD2,845,000 ($362,410).

Badziakouski Takes Commanding Lead

Level 21 : 50,000/100,000, 15,000 ante

Mikita Badziakouski limped in with the {J-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and Rui Cao in the big blind asked for his stack size, then checked with the {10-Hearts}{9-Spades}. The {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{5-Hearts} flop was checked through and the {J-Diamonds} appeared on the turn. Cao now bet 200,000 and Badziakouski called.

After the {J-Clubs} river, Cao checked and a bet of Badziakouski won the pot uncontested.

Badziakouski raised to 300,000 from the cutoff with {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} and Cao three-bet to 750,000 with the {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs} in the small blind, picking up a call from Badziakouski. On the {A-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{4-Clubs} flop, Cao continued for 450,000 and Badziakouski called.

After the {7-Spades} turn, Cao slowed down and called Badziakouski's bet of 650,000. The {8-Spades} river was checked through and the Belorussian admitted to a "very nitty check" before raking in the massive pot.

Badziakouski Starts Well Into New Level

Level 21 : 50,000/100,000, 15,000 ante

Mikita Badziakouski raised with the {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts} and Peter Jetten called in the big blind with {9-Clubs}{8-Spades}. On the {10-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop, Jetten checked and Badziakouski continued for 175,000.

Jetten called to see the {A-Spades} turn and checked once more. Badziakouski now bet 375,000 with his top pair and

Flush for Leow; Next Break

Level 20 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Peter Jetten made it 160,000 to go from the cutoff with the {A-Spades}{5-Spades} and Mikita Badziakouski called on the button with the {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts}. Rui Cao in the big blind asked for the stack size of Jetten and used one time bank extension before raising it up to 680,000 with the {K-Clubs}{K-Spades}.

Jetten folded and Badziakouski came to the same conclusion.

Ivan Leow raised to 160,000 first to act with {K-Spades}{10-Spades} and Wai Leong Chan came along from the big blind with the {A-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}. On the {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{5-Spades} flop, both players checked and Chan also checked the {6-Spades} turn. Leow checked behind with the flush, and the {7-Hearts} river went check, check, too.

The last hand of the level went to Leow and the players headed into a 10-minute break right after.

Jetten Jams Into Chan; Cao Extends Lead

Level 20 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Chan Wai Leong raised the button with the {9-Clubs}{5-Spades} and Peter Jetten called out of the big blind with {K-Spades}{10-Clubs}. On a flop of {K-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}, Jetten checked and subsequently check-raised from 200,000 to 450,000.

Chan called and the {J-Diamonds} appeared on the turn. Jetten moved all in to claim the pot.

First to act, Steffen Sontheimer raised to 170,000 with {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} and Rui Cao called with the {A-Spades}{K-Spades} in the hijack. The {K-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop brought a bet of 140,000 and Cao called. After the {K-Clubs} turn, Sontheimer checked and quickly folded to a bet of 225,000 by Cao. "I am not happy about this hand," he added while raking in the pot.

The Chips Are Passed Around

Level 20 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Wai Leong Chan opened to 185,000 with the {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} Ivan Leow three-bet to 500,000 with {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}. Chan moved all in for 1,520,000 and that got through to boost Chan's stack to 2.2 million.

Peter Jetten raised to 160,000 from the hijack with the {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} and Chan called in the big blind with the {J-Hearts}{6-Hearts}. The flop fell {A-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and Chan checked, Jetten bet 105,000 and a quick fold from Chan followed.

Rui Cao limped the button and Leow checked the big blind and the {10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop, Cao checked behind. On the {8-Spades} turn, Leow bet 125,000 and Cao called. After the {9-Clubs} river, Leow checked and Cao bet 300,000, picking up a call by Leow.

Steve O'Dwyer Eliminated in 7th Place (HKD2,312,000/$294,514)

Level 20 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
Steve O'Dwyer

Mikita Badziakouski raised to 160,000 with the {K-Hearts}{J-Spades} right after having raised and getting shoved on by Rui Cao. This time it was Peter Jetten in the big blind, who shoved for 1,200,000 with the {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}. “Come on guys, why do you keep doing this to me?” Badziakouski sighed and folded.

Then, Rui Cao raised to 160,000 in the cutoff with the {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} and Steve O'Dwyer defended the big blind with {A-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}. On the {A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{4-Spades} flop, O'Dwyer checked and called a bet of 150,000 with his top pair.

After the {3-Diamonds} turn, O'Dwyer checked once more and the {3-Spades} river paired the board. O'Dwyer checked and Cao moved all in to receive a quick call by O'Dwyer. Cao doubled for 1,055,000 and O'Dwyer was left with 50,000 only and forced all in from the small blind.

The very next hand, Rui Cao opened to 170,000 with the {A-Clubs}{5-Spades} and O'Dwyer was forced all in with the {J-Hearts}{J-Spades} in the small blind, Badziakouski called in the big blind with the {J-Clubs}{8-Clubs}. On the {A-Spades}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop, Badziakouski checked and Cao's bet isolated successfully.

The {2-Hearts} turn and the {10-Spades} on the river reduced the field to the last six.
