Derek McMaster raised to 3,500 under the gun and action folded around to James Rodriguez, who called in the small blind. The big blind also called, bringing a flop of . Rodriguez checked and the big blind bet 3,000, leaving himself just 5,000 behind. McMaster raised to 9,000, Rodriguez called, and then the big blind called all in.
Two thousand then went into the side pot and the turn came . Rodriguez checked again and McMaster put out a bet of 20,000, which Rodriguez called. The river fell and Rodriguez led out for 30,000, sending McMaster into consideration for more than half a minute before folding face-up.
James Rodriguez:
All-In Player:
Both players had rivered a straight, sending the table into remark about the runout. Meanwhile, McMaster saved himself 30,000 with the fold, putting a smile on his face as he told Rodriguez, "That was exactly what I put you on!"
McMaster now has 160K nearing the end of Level 10 and is looking to find a bag after fizzing out a level early in yesterday's Day 1a. Meanwhile, Rodriguez, the overall Day 1 chip leader of last week's MSPT Black Hawk $360 Regional has chipped up over 200K since returning from dinner.

Gabriel Wechter saw action fold to him on the button and opened to 6,000, receiving calls from both Al Hart in the small blind and DJ Buckley in the big blind. The flop came and Hart checked to Buckley, who went all in for 19,500, roughly a pot-sized bet. Wechter quickly folded and Hart called immediately thereafter.
Al Hart:
DJ Buckley:
Buckley had flopped bottom two pair but ran it into Hart's king-high straight.
"Deuce!" said Hart. The turn came .
"Deuce!" responded Buckley. The river accomplished the same thing as a deuce, leaving Hart's straight to top Buckley's tens up and eliminate him from the tournament.

Jerry Morrell has just been seen with potentially the largest stack in the room. He confirmed that he had a large double through Jarred Simmer, who was the first player in the field to reach 200,000 earlier in the day. Simmer was eliminated not long after, with the last of his chips going to Andreas Ramadanis.
A total of 214 entries have been logged for the flight with a little over an hour remaining in the late registration period. Fifty-two players are currently still in action.

Jamal Sawaqdeh opened to 5,500 in middle position and received calls from Craig Varnell in the small blind as well as the big blind, taking postflop action three-ways to the streets.
Sawaqdeh saw action check to him on and bet, receiving a call only from Varnell to take action heads up to the turn . Varnell checked again and Sawaqdeh bet 12,000 more, prompting Varnell to check-raise to 36,000.
Sawaqdeh went into the tank for over a minute: "Show?" he asked.
"I'll show one," said Varnell, lifting his index finger in the air to signify.
"Can I pick?" asked Sawaqdeh. Varnell nodded affirmatively.
Sawaqdeh then set aside calling chips and counted the remainder of his stack, totaling 60,000. He thought for another 20 seconds and sent his cards to the muck.
Varnell then sent his cards across the table to Sawaqdeh, who looked up at Varnell before grabbing them and washing the two cards for a few moments. He then flipped over and grabbed the other card to send to the muck, cooperating with the agreement between the two.
"You got lucky," said Sawaqdeh. "Not with the ace."
