Three-way on a flop of 4♠2♦10♣, Omar Lakhdari in the small blind bet 2,400, Philippe Ktorza in the big blind folded and Anthony Mercier in middle position called.

On the 7♦ turn, Lakhdari asked for 8,600. Mercier called once again to see the 7♣ river where Lakhdari checked.

Mercier took this opportunity to bet 13,800. Lakhdari went into the tank, counted his stack and pushed his pile of blue chips forward. Within a fraction of a second, "all-in and call" was heard and both players flipped over their cards, with Lakhdari at risk for a little bit less than 60,000 chips.

Lakhdari had two pair and a missed flush draw, but Mercier had a full house so he scooped this big pot while Lakhdari was eliminated.

After Mathias Marza limped from middle position, Julien Mariani in the cutoff raised to 2,100. He was called by the big blind and Marza completed.

Mariani made a continuation bet of 2,100 on the 10♦5♣J♠ flop and Marza was the only one to check-call.

Then on the Q♥ turn, the 6-max French champion fired a second barrel of 7,500. However Marza check-raised to 20,000, so Mariani went deep into the tank.

"You have eight-nine or king-nine?" he asked. "I can't have ace-king?" Marza answered. "Impossible" added Mariani, who moved all-in for a total of approximately 30,000. Marza snap-called.

Mariani ran into Marza's straight and didn't find any help with the 2♦ river.

Sami Bechahed raised to 1,400 from middle position. Michel Molenaar called from the small blind, but Eric Apikian in the big blind three-bet to 4,200. Both Bechahed and Molenaar called.

All three players checked the 5♥5♦4♣ flop. The 4♦ brought a second pair on the board but no action, and they all checked the 9♣ river again.

Molenaar immediately sent his cards into the muck. Apikian had A♦Q♣ and Bechahed had A♠K♣, so they split the pot.

Anthony Mercier raised to 1,200 from middle position and he was called three times: by the 2024 heads-up French Championship winner Nicolas Dumont on the button, by Quentin Roussey in the small blind and by Omar Lakhdari in the big blind.

They all checked all the way through a board of K♣5♣K♠8♦. The 10♦ completed the board and Roussey bet 1,600.

Lakhdari snap-folded, Mercier called and Dumont folded. Roussey showed J♠10♥ for two pair. Mercier flipped over the 10♠ but had a lower kicker as his second card went into the muck.
