"chrisgoataui" raised to 60,000 chips from the cutoff before Fedor "CrownUpGuy" Holz three-bet to 225,000 from the small blind. The initial raiser obliged with a call and the pair saw the flop of Q♥2♣3♣ appear.
Holz continued with a bet of 90,000, receiving a call from "chrisgoataui", and the same happened on the 10♣ turn, albeit for an amount of 177,000.
The 8♥ river then appeared and Holz then shoved all in for his remaining 449,390 chips. "chrisgoataui" was quick with yet another call and Holz could only show A♣9♦ for the bluff attempt. Meanwhile, "chrisgoataui" was sitting on top pair with A♥Q♦ and secured himself a big pot.
The action folded to Kayhan "KayhanMok" Mokri on the button, who raised to 63,300 chips. "brunojardas1" was in the big blind and promptly jammed his seven-figure stack of 1,007,098 in the middle, receiving a snap call from Mokri.
Mokri paired his ace on the A♦8♦Q♣9♥7♦ runout and beat the pair of deuces of his opponent. Mokri seized the first place on the leaderboard while "brunojardas1" failed to make the top 100 of the WCOOP Main Event.
"Eleres88" made a raise to 50,000 from under the gun and Ole "wizowizo" Schemion three-bet all-in for 249,162 from middle position. The action folded back to "Eleres88", who made the call.

All seemed well for Schemion on the 3♥4♠2♣7♠ board, but the 5♥ river made "Eleres88" the lowest possible straight, beating out the pair of Schemion, eliminating the German in brutal fashion.
"Klyukvenniy" opened the action with a raise to 40,000 in the cutoff and Tom "7tHEcROw7" MacDonald defended the big blind.
The flop of 4♦6♥9♣ subsequentially saw MacDonald check to his opponent, who made a continuation-bet of 34,100. MacDonald then fired a raise to 115,00, which "Klyukvenniy" called.
The A♥ was turned and MacDonald now slowed down with a check. "Klyukvenniy" responded with a small bet of 60,000 chips and MacDonald made the call.
The K♥ river completed the board and MacDonald checked once more. This time, "Klyukvenniy" went all-in for 336,420 chips. MacDonald went deep into his time bank, but eventually made the call.
"Klyukvenniy" showed A♠6♠ for two pair and MacDonald was not even close to beating that with his Q♣9♦ for a pair of nines. "Klyukvenniy" doubled up to over a million while MacDonald, who sat near the top of the leaderboard at the start of the day, was left with just 500,000 chips
The action folded to "IamMickeyBr" on the button, and they opened to 36,230 chips. Andras "probirs" Nemeth was in the big blind and opted to defend.
The flop fell 4♦9♦2♠ and Nemeth checked to his opponent, who made a large bet of 72,000. Nemeth responded with a small raise to 160,000, after which "IamMickeyBr" shoved all in for 516,768. Nemeth put in the extra chips as well and the players' holdings were revealed.

The 8♦ turn gave Nemeth a plethora of additional outs, but it was one of his original ones that came on the K♣ river, upgrading him to two pair and eliminating his opponent.

Tournier started today as one of the absolute short stacks, but she has managed to chip up to an around-average stack.
"Revenge892" was one of the many late entries today and opened to 24,000 from the cutoff. Christian "eisenhower1" Jeppsson sat in the small blind and put out a three-bet to 78,000 before the action folded back to "Revenge892", who put in their stack of 231,400.
Jeppsson made the call and was delivered the bad news.

However, the A♣7♦K♣ flop saw Jeppsson turn his dominated hand into the dominating one, flopping a set to jump into the lead. No queen saved "Revenge892" on the 4♦A♦ runout and he was one of the many eliminations in the early minutes of Day 2.
Day 2 of the 2023 $10,300 World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) Main Event is set to kick off 12:35 p.m. Eastern Time on PokerStars, and it promises to be an action-packed day where the bubble is guaranteed to burst. At the time of writing, the $6,000,000 guaranteed prize pool has not been met yet, however, late registration is still open until five minutes before the start of play and many contenders are expected to make use of that option with the looming overlay.
On Day 1, 511 entries were made and only 176 of them found a way to Day 2. Brazil’s "BRzRoll" bagged the chip lead and was the only player that bagged more than two million chips. Starting the day with 2,379,612 chips, close to ten starting stacks, at their disposal, they will have close to 200 big blinds to play with.
