Samuelsson Flops Quads to Double

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Martin Kabrhel raised to 6,000 and Andreas Samuelsson moved all in from the small blind. Kabrhel asked for a count and the shove was for 55,500. After short consideration, Kabrhel said "okay, you got it," and called.

Andreas Samuelsson: {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Martin Kabrhel: {A-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}

Only a mere moment before the first community cards appeared, Kabrhel said "suckout coming" and then saw the flop come {J-Spades}{10-Spades}{10-Hearts} to give Samuelsson quads. Kabrhel was already drawing dead to win the pot, making the {6-Diamonds} turn and {Q-Clubs} river a mere formality.

Jozonis Finds a Double

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Tomas Jozonis lost two other min-raised pots, first as initial raiser and then by defending against Tomas Soderstrom. Down to his last 19,600, Jozonis then moved all in and Soderstrom called with {J-Clubs}{9-Hearts}. The Swede only had one over card, as Jozonis held {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {10-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and Jozonis doubled.

First Break of the Day

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

After the frequent eliminations early on, the action has slowed down and Tomas Jozonis raised another hand, this time to 5,500. He picked up three callers including Tomas Soderstrom, Eugene Katchalov and Viliyan Petleshkov in the small blind. The flop of {Q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} was checked to Soderstrom, and the Swede bet 10,500 to claim the pot uncontested.

Right after, the players headed into their first 15-minute break of the day.

Soderstrom Takes Two

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Tomas Soderstrom raised from under the gun and found a caller in Tomas Jozonis in the big blind. Jozonis check-called a bet worth 14,000 on the {4-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{2-Spades}{9-Diamonds} turn and checked again the {6-Clubs} river. Soderstrom moved all in and Jozonis folded.

Two hands later, Jozonis raised to 5,200 on the button and Soderstrom in the small blind as well as Eugene Katchalov in the big blind called.

The flop fell {5-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and a bet of 11,000 by Soderstrom claimed the pot uncontested.

Four Shoves; No Calls

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Andreas Eiler got through with two all ins while Martin Kabrhel raised to 4,800 and tank-folded to a shove of Andreas Samuelsson, having invested plenty of table talk. Samuelsson was at risk for 38,400 and didn't show any reaction to the attempt of his opponent.

Over on table two, Eugene Katchalov made it 5,500 to go and Vladimir Troyanovskiy three-bet to 15,000 on the button. Tomas Jozonis moved all in from the big blind and Katchalov quickly folded. Troyanovskiy asked for a count and the shove of Jozonis was for 45,700 in total.

Troyanovskiy eventually folded and Aviv Meiri added "he doesn't call because he doesn't want to show his cards," which prompted a smile from Troyanovskiy.

Lauck and Thompson Double

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Another raising war broke out and this time it was Jonas Lauck once again at risk, finding a sole opponent in Andreas Samuelsson. "I love it, a gambling table," Martin Kabrhel added and the cards were tabled for a coin flip.

Jonas Lauck: {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}
Andreas Samuelsson: {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}

The board came {K-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and the ace-king prevailed yet another time for Lauck to double for a total of 90,600.

Soon after, Kabrhel defended his big blind against a raise by Steven Thompson and the latter got his last 27,000 in after a flop of {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{5-Spades}. Kabrhel looked him up with {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} for a big draw, trailing Thompson's {A-Spades}{J-Clubs}. Both the {8-Diamonds} turn and the {5-Diamonds} river changed nothing and Thompson doubled as well.

Lauck Doubles; Imsirovic Doesn't

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Jonas Lauck three-bet shoved out of the big blind and initial raiser Andreas Eiler called from under the gun with the superior stack.

Jonas Lauck: {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}
Andreas Eiler: {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}

The board ran out {A-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{J-Spades}{9-Clubs} and Lauck scored a double for 44,500 to leave Eiler short.

One hand later, Almedin Imsirovic open-shoved for around 50,000 and Andreas Samuelsson called, Eiler eventually folded the {A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} in the big blind.

Almedin Imsirovic: {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}
Andreas Samuelsson: {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}

The board came {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{K-Hearts}{J-Spades}{7-Hearts} and that was it for Imsirovic.

Chwastek Busts to Soderstrom

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Short Stack Mateusz Chwastek moved all in for his last 16,400 from early position and Tomas Soderstrom reraised to 30,000 in the cutoff, forcing folds from all other players at the table.

Mateusz Chwastek: {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}
Tomas Soderstrom: {J-Spades}{J-Clubs}

A board of {A-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} failed to improve Chwastek and he became the next casualty of the day.
