Big Double for Soderstrom

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Aviv Meiri raised to 12,000 from under the gun and Tomas Soderstrom called from one seat over in the cutoff. On the {J-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop, Meiri continued for 22,000 and was called before the {7-Clubs} turn slowed down Meiri, who checked. Soderstrom now made it 28,000 to go and picked up a call before Meiri checked the {10-Clubs} river.

Soderstrom moved all in for 103,900 and Meiri spent two minutes in the think tank. The shove was for most of his stack, and Meiri then called to get shown {6-Hearts}{6-Spades} by Soderstrom. Meiri only had {Q-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} for top pair and lost a huge portion of his stack.

Vlado Banicevic Eliminated by Andreas Samuelsson

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Vlado Banicevic
Vlado Banicevic

Over on table one, Martin Staszko raised to 8,500 and Vlado Banicevic three-bet to 22,500 from one seat over on the button. Andreas Samuelsson carefully checked his stack and took his time before moving all in. Staszko quickly folded, but Banicevic eventually called after more than two minutes.

Vlado Banicevic: {J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}
Andreas Samuelsson: {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}

The board ran out {6-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} and Samuelsson completed a full house. The stacks were counted and the Swede had 123,600, his opponent was covered by only two big blinds. Banicevic left the table with a few curse words and the field will now combine to one table when the hand at the other table is finished.

Troyanovskiy Builds Stack

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

On the button, Vladimir Troyanovskiy raised to 8,500 and Aviv Meiri called in the small blind. Tomas Soderstrom had other plans in the big blind and three-bet to 29,000. Troyanovskiy called, while Meiri sent his cards into the muck.

The flop came {K-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{8-Spades} and Soderstrom checked, Troyanovskiy bet 20,500 and was called. After the {9-Hearts} turn, Soderstrom checked again and Troyanovskiy's bet of 50,500 did the trick to force a fold.

Tomas Jozonis Eliminated

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Eugene Katchalov raised from early position and picked up two callers in Aviv Meiri in the small blind and Tomas Jozonis in the big blind. On the {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop, Meiri checked and Jozonis moved all in for his last 17,800. Both Katchalov and Meiri called and the two remaining active players checked the {7-Diamonds} turn.

On the {3-Diamonds} river, Katchalov bet 35,000 and Meiri folded.

Jozonis tabled {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for a ten-high flush and then nodded when spotting the {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs} of Katchalov, who had rivered the nut flush. This reduced the field to the last 10 hopefuls with two five-handed tables going forward.

Petleshkov and Eiler Claim Pots

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Andreas Samuelsson raised to 6,500 and Andreas Eiler moved all in. Samuelsson asked for a count and folded to the shove worth 38,500, after some table talk without picking up any information. Eiler shoved the next hand again and nobody called.

Over on table two, Viliyan Petleshkov raised to 6,000 on the button and Vladimir Troyanovskiy in the small as well as Aviv Meiri in the big blind called. The flop fell {Q-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} and Troyanovskiy checked. Meiri bet 7,500 and Petleshkov raised to 18,000 with around 26,000 behind to force folds from both opponents.

Thompson Next to Fall

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante
Steven Thompson
Steven Thompson

Only a few minutes after the elimination of Martin Kabrhel, table one lost yet another player. Vlado Banicevic raised to 6,500 from the cutoff and Steven Thompson moved all in from the small blind for what looked like 41,600. Jonas Lauck folded in the big blind and Banicevic quickly called.

When the cards were tabled, Banicevic turned over his {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}. Thompson first revealed the {A-Spades} and then sweated his second hole card, it was the {3-Diamonds}. Despite picking up some additional outs with a gutshot, the board ran out blank showing {K-Spades}{7-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds}, to eliminate Thompson.

"What can I do", the Costa Rican said and headed to the rail. There are just 11 players remaining and the field will be combined to one table once down to the last nine.

Kabrhel Loses Flip to Lauck

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante
Martin Kabrhel
Martin Kabrhel

Jonas Lauck raised to 6,500 from the hijack and Martin Kabrhel moved all in for around 72,000 from the small blind. Lauck gave it some consideration and called to put Kabrhel at risk.

Martin Kabrhel: {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}
Jonas Lauck: {6-Clubs}{6-Spades}

Lauck, who had re-entered before the start of Day 2 and doubled twice with ace-king, this time dodged it with the board running out {Q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{9-Clubs}. "Good luck guys," Kabrhel said and left the table, reducing the field to the last 12 hopefuls.

Petleshkov Jams Three Times

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Viliyan Petleshkov moved all in three times without picking up a caller to boost his stack slightly. He moved to around 20 big blinds and remains among the shortest stacks.

Two other small pots were played, but none of them went further than the flop with Andreas Samuelsson and Vladimir Troyanovskiy picking up the chips with a simple continuation bet.
