Sigel Bests Nodea

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

On the tail end of a board {K-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}, Andrei Nodea checked out of the big blind and called a bet of 225,000 by Jan Sigel from under the gun with around 540,000 in the middle until then. The {7-Diamonds} river paired the board and Nodea was first to show his cards but didn't do so just yet.

Sigel had already rolled over his {K-Spades}{10-Spades} and Nodea mucked.

Rundström Doubles Twice

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Ulrich Pauls raised from the button and called the shove of short stack Bo Rundström for 230,000 in total.

Bo Rundström: {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}
Ulrich Pauls: {Q-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}

The board came {9-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{K-Clubs} and the Swede doubled.

Soon after a four-way limped pot headed to the flop of {9-Spades}{4-Spades}{2-Spades} and Behzad Zarnegar checked from under the gun. Rundström bet 125,000 from one seat ober. Rudolf Köster folded from the small blind and Pauls called in the big blind. The {4-Diamonds} appeared on the turn and Pauls bet 175,000, Rundström moved all in for 300,000 and Pauls called.

Bo Rundström: {Q-Spades}{10-Spades}
Ulrich Pauls: {A-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}

Pauls already wanted to muck his cards but could catch a four or a nine to send Rundström to the rail. Instead it was the {A-Spades} on the river that let the Swede double for the second time.

Jan Sigel
Jan Sigel

Jan Sigel raised to 95,000 from the button and was called by Karolis Domarkas in the big blind.

They both checked through the {K-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{J-Hearts} to the {2-Diamonds} on the turn. Domarkas bet 125,000 and Sigel immediately responded with a shove. Domarkas asked for a count. After the dealer had counted Sigel's stack, it was confirmed that Sigel had 660,000 behind. Domarkas tanked, looked at the board and Sigel's stack several times, and then ended up calling.

Sigel tabled {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for a straight, flush and straight flush draw and Domarkas had {K-Hearts}{6-Spades} for top pair. Sigel punched the table with happiness when the dealer completed the board with the {6-Hearts} for a flush and the double up.
