Ramos Flushed Away on the River

Level 11 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Felipe Ramos
Felipe Ramos

On a flop of {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}, Christoph Vogelsang checked out of the big blind and Felipe Ramos bet 200,000. Vogelsang eyed the stack of Ramos carefully before sliding forward a tower of T-1,000 chips, and Ramos called all in for 1.135 million.

Felipe Ramos: {A-Spades}{J-Hearts}
Christoph Vogelsang: {Q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}

Ramos was ahead with his two pair but had to dodge all kings and diamonds to double up. A blank {5-Clubs} turn was followed up by the {K-Diamonds} on the river and that improved Vogelsang to a flush.

O'Dwyer Busts Antonius in a Three-Way All-In

Level 11 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Patrik Antonius
Patrik Antonius

There was a three-way all-in situation and the players involved were Steve O'Dwyer, Patrik Antonius and Arne Ruge. Antonius had the smaller stack of the three and Ruge the biggest.

Steve O'Dwyer: {A-Spades}{a-Clubs}
Arne Ruge: {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}
Patrik Antonius: {A-Hearts}{q-Spades}

The board ran out {5-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} - O'Dwyer's aces held and he took all of Antonius' stack and a huge chunk of Ruge's. Ruge was left behind with about 750,000 and Antonius, the winner of the Super High Roller yesterday, was sent to the rail.

Soon after that Ruge was also sent to the rail, the details of that hand are unfortunately unknown.

More for Loeser

Level 11 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

On a flop of {J-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{2-Spades}, Renato Nowak checked and called a bet of 115,000 by Stefan Schillhabel to see the {7-Hearts} turn. Both players checked and did so again on the {3-Clubs} river, Nowak showed the {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds} and won the pot. "Nines again? Just don't play king three," Patrik Antonius joked.

Manig Loeser raised to 110,000 in the hijack and Joao Simao called on the button, as did Bertrand Grospellier in the big blind. The flop came {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and it was Loeser who continued for 145,000. Only Simao called, Grospellier folded. The {A-Spades} turn and {9-Diamonds} river brought no betting action anymore and Loeser showed {A-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for trips aces to scoop the pot.

Kabrel Loses It All To Loeser

Level 10 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Martin Kabhrel completed his small blind in the last hand of the previous level and Manig Loeser was next up to act while he was eating his pasta. Loeser peeped at Kabrhel's stack and then counted out some of his blue 100,000-value chips. Loeser bet 1,800,000.

"How much?!" Kabrhel asked Loeser.

"1.8 million." Loeser calmly replied while continuing to eat.

"I don't have that!" Kabrhel said. "Will you give me?" Kabrhel asked Felipe Ramos who was sat on his right. Felipe counted out his blue chips to help out (for fun, not for real). "You want to gamble?" Kabrhel now asked Loeser.

"I always gamble." Loeser replied.

"Is the pasta good?" Kabrhel now wondered.

"Very good." Loeser remarked.

Kabrhel kept pestering Loeser with questions about his hand and Loeser kept ignoring those questions.

"If you don't tell me, I will call!" Kabrhel said.

"You know what you need to do... put your chips in the pot." Loeser replied.

Kabrhel kept peppering him with more questions.

"Clock" Loeser said to the dealer, while still really enjoying his meal.

"Are you nervous?" Kabrhel asked Loeser.

The floor was called over and the situation was explained to him. The floor gave Kabrhel a minute to take his decision, when the 10-second mark was reached, the floor started counting down. Kabrhel called in the end.

Manig Loeser: {A-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}
Martin Kabrhel: {K-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

"That was really retarded." Loeser commented.

The board ran out {8-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{8-Spades}{q-Hearts}{5-Spades} - no help for Kabrhel as he was eliminated.

"If I go all-in, would you call?" Kabrhel asked Loeser.

"Yes." Loeser replied.

Kabrhel looked shocked. "Playin with maniacs, I've got no chance!" he said while leaving the table.

Loeser got the last word in though: "Tschüss!"

Zhang and Aldemir Eliminated

Level 10 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Chi Zhang
Chi Zhang

Chi Zhang was all in and at risk for 600,000 with the {K-Spades}{J-Diamonds} and Niall Farrell looked him up with the {A-Clubs}{9-Clubs}. However, that was not all of it just yet as Patrick Leonard got his stack of 840,000 in with the {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades} as well and Farrell called.

"Good game guys," the Scotsman joked and added "just give me a dry ace-high board." Instead, Leonard spiked top set on the {Q-Clubs}{6-Spades}{2-Spades} flop and Farrell needed running clubs to eliminate two opponents. The {J-Spades} turn gave Zhang hope of a triple up, and the {4-Diamonds} river was a blank to eliminate Zhang.

While Leonard almost tripled up, Koray Aldemir was eliminated on another table, too.

Zhang Doubles

Level 10 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

After taking down a nice pot with ace-king, Joao Simao bumped his stack to 3.1 million and raised the next hand to 90,000 from the hijack. Christoph Vogelsang made it 275,000 to go from the cutoff and Simao called. The flop fell {K-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} and no bets followed. After the {4-Spades} turn, Simao bet 215,000 and Vogelsang called, however the {A-Spades} river was checked by the partypoker ambassador. Vogelsang bet 455,000 for half his remaining stack and Simao folded.

Chi Zhang was all in for 280,000 with the {9-Spades}{9-Hearts} and Dietrich Fast had the {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}. The board came {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{3-Spades} and Zhang stayed in. Fast recovered the losses in a hand against Patrick Leonard right after in a battle of the blinds. Leonard bet the {K-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop for 50,000 and Fast raised to 130,000, Leonard called. On the {Q-Clubs} turn, Leonard checked and folded when facing a bet of 225,000.

Zukernik Wins Against Vogelsang

Level 10 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Philipp Zukernik raised to 90,000 from the button and was called by Christoph Vogelsang in the big blind.

They both checked through the {7-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Spades} on the flop to the {k-Diamonds} on the turn. Vogelsang checked again and Zukernik bet 125,000. Vogelsang eyed Zukernik for a moment and then called.

The {3-Clubs} on the river completed the board and both of them checked again. Vogelsang tabled {8-Spades}{8-Clubs} for eights and treys but was beaten by the {K-Hearts}{5-Hearts} of Zukernik for the higher turned two pair.
