Break

Level 12 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

The 17 remaining players have gone for another 10-minute break. The players have agreed amongst themselves to continue the 10-minute breaks after every three levels instead of the original schedule.

Game Over for Adams

Level 12 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Timothy Adams
Timothy Adams

In the last hand before the break, Bertrand Grospellier limped in from the small blind and Timothy Adams raised to 200,000, Grospellier called. On the {9-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop, Grospellier check-raised from 110,000 to 330,000 and called the shove of Adams with {Q-Spades}{9-Spades}. Adams had the inferior kicker with {9-}{6-} and the {A-Clubs} turn and {4-Diamonds} river ensured that this disadvantage would be crucial.

When the remaining 16 players return for the next place, the redraw for the last two tables will take place before the cards get back underway.

Down to 17 Players

Level 12 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Down to just four big blinds, Christian Christner pushed all in from under the gun with {3-Hearts}{3-Spades} and Bartlomiej Machon called all in for even less from one seat over with the {A-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}. Stefan Schillhabel called out of the big blind with {A-Spades}{6-Clubs} to put two players at risk.

The board came {K-Clubs}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{A-Clubs} and Christner's short stack was chopped up.

In the next hand, Machon shoved for 335,000 and Philipp Gruissem called in the cutoff.

Bartlomiej Machon: {A-Spades}{3-Spades}
Philipp Gruissem: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

The board ran out {9-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{8-Spades} and Machon turned a straight to double.

At almost the same time, Jean-Noel Thorel shoved into two opponents on the {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} flop only for Patrick Leonard to call with {Q-}{J-} for the flopped full house. Thorel had {8-}{7-} and the {7-Clubs} turn and {3-Spades} river were a mere formality.

Troyanovskiy Wins a Small One

Level 12 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Vladimir Troyanovskiy completed the small blind and Manig Loeser opted to check.

The flop came {8-Hearts}{J-Spades}{5-Hearts}, Troyanovskiy check-called the 60,000 bet of Loeser.

They both checked through the {7-Spades} on the turn and the {3-Spades} on the river. Troyanovskiy flipped over {A-Spades}{5-Clubs} for the flopped pair of fives, Loeser glimpsed at his cards once more and then mucked them.

Nitsche Gone Missing

Level 12 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Dominik Nitsche
Dominik Nitsche

Stefan Schillhabel seems to be taking another run at High Roller glory here in Rozvadov after he just dispatched Dominik Nitsche. The latter was kind enough to provide the details. According to Nitsche, he defended his big blind against the under-the-gun raise of Schillhabel and Renato Nowak also called from the small blind.

Only Nitsche check-called a small continuation bet on the {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{4-} flop before doing so again on the {10-} turn that brought a second flush draw. Nitsche then shoved the {2-Hearts} river for 750,000 with {Q-}{10-Hearts} and Schillhabel called with pocket fours for bottom set on the flop.

Johannes Becker completed from the small blind, Niall Farrell raised to 200,000. Becker three-bet to 600,000 and Farrell called.

May the Rabbit Hunt Continue

Level 12 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

In a battle small blind versus cutoff, Renato Nowak bet the {Q-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} flop for 200,000 and Steve O'Dwyer called. The {8-Hearts} turn immediately saw Nowak lead out for 1.3 million and O'Dwyer reluctantly folded. Nowak showed his {Q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and asked the dealer to burn and turn, wanting to see the river card if he gets a straight flush. All other players at the table agreed and the {4-Spades} was revealed.
