Chalot Correctly Calls With a Queen

Blinds 150,000-300,000

Alexandros Kolonias limped the small blind and Benjamin "Geraaaard" Chalot checked his option from the big blind. They checked all the way to the {10-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{2-Clubs} river on which Kolonias bet 300,000. Chalot called with {q-Spades}{3-Spades} and was good versus {9-Clubs}{5-Hearts}.

Thomas Muehloecker then won the next pot post flop on {q-Spades}{6-Hearts}{4-Clubs} when Sebastian "Weizen" Gaehl folded to his continuation bet.

Kolonias' raise to 660,000 was three-bet to 1,740,000 by Chalot and that won the pot uncontested.

Pillai vs Yankov vs Pillai

Blinds 150,000-300,000

Shankar Pillai made it 660,000 to go from under the gun and Krasimir Yankov called out of the big blind. On a {q-Clubs}{9-Spades}{4-Spades} flop, Yankov opted to check-call for 412,345 and the duo then checked the {7-Diamonds} turn. On the {q-Diamonds} river, Yankov bet 1,477,550 and Pillai folded.

One hand later Yankov limped the small blind and Pillai checked from the big blind. The {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop was checked and Yankov's bet worth 387,500 was called. He checked the {q-Clubs} river and Pillai's bet of 1,050,000 secured the pot without showdown.

Pillai also won the next battle of the blinds against Alexandros Kolonias with superior two pair but four diamonds on the board kept the pot rather small.
