Who Will Win the 2021 GGPoker Super MILLION$ Week $10,300 Main Event?
All but one tournament of the inaugural 2021 GGPoker Super MILLION$ Week has determined a champion. The Super MILLION$ $10,300 Main Event will officially conclude the festival today as eight players out of 976 entries return to battle for the lion's share of the $10 million guarantee.
All finalists have $299,366 locked up and two seven-figure paydays will be awarded, the winner is slated to walk away with the top prize of $1,242,332.
Mexico-based British player Ben Ward leads the way with a stack of 18,432,514 but he is closely followed by Sebastian "Weizen" Gaehl (17,715,410) and the 2019 WSOP Europe Main Event champion Alexandros Kolonias (17,300,410) Krasimir Yankov sits in the middle of the pack with a stack of 14,986,851 and all further finalists are below 10 million in chips.
That includes Shankar Pillai (9,323,230), Thomas Muehloecker (7,179,571), Javier Gomez (6,633,140), and Benjamin "Geraaaard" Chalot (5,674,092). The final table was supposed to start nine-handed but after the elimination of Ole Schemion in 10th place, China's Wei Zhao bowed out after in the final hand of the other table and collected $244,811 for his 9th place finish.
