On a flop, PokerStars Mind Sports Ambassador Jennifer Shahade fired 5,600 only for Francis Foord-Brown to make it 12,000. Shahade thought for a couple of minutes before moving all in for around 60,000 and Foord-Brown called instantly.

Dominik Panka’s usual pose is sitting up ramrod straight in his seat, dark glasses concealing his eyes, an impassive face as he picks up yet another bet from the tower of chips in front on him and crushes another opponent.
What a contrast Panka is today. He is slumped in his chair, head lolling in his hand with a glum expression, no sunglasses and a paltry few chips in front of him. For the time we watched him he was folding hands, waiting for an opportunity to make his move.
When it was Panka’s small blind it folded round to him and he looked at his neighbour, PokerStars Team Online player Mickey Petersen, sat in the big blind with a tower of chips in front of him. Petersen grinned and waggled his eyebrows at him, clearly enjoying the situation. Panka looked at his cards and helplessly folded.

Miltiadis Kyriakides from Greece seems to have been hovering up chips this afternoon, doing it in a style that doesn’t seem to have endeared him to the table. Kyriakides is using his big stack to splash around in a lot of pots forcing short stacks to fold when they haven’t connected to the board. He is also determined to call out his opponent’s hands. He recently beat Fatima Moreira de Melo in a pot declaring on the river, “I have the best hand.” He did indeed and added a few more chirping chips to the pile.
It was Govert Metaal’s turn to take on Kyriakides when he defended his bog blind and they went heads-up to a flop of . Metaal checked and Kyriakides threw out a 3,000 bet. There was some deliberation before Metaal called the bet.
The turn card was checked by both players before a river saw Metaal wait a short while before placing out a very deliberate 7,600 bet. Kyriakides was out of his seat before declaring, “I’m thinking of making a hero call.” He decided to make the call but Metaal showed him his turned flush and Kyriakides was quiet as he mucked his cards.

On the turn of a board, Ana Marquez had moved all in for around 40,000 into a pot of roughly 30,000 with the action on Team PokerStars Pro Liv Boeree. The English lady had a clear decision to make for a sizeable portion of her chips and made the call after some serious deliberation.
Marquez:
Boeree:
Boeree needed to avoid the board pairing and was successful when the came on the river to knock out her Spanish opponent. Boeree looks to be the chip leader at this point.
