Blinds: 1,000/2,000

Ante: 300

Break Started

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

The last 20-minute break of the day is upon the players.

Two more 75-minute levels to play when they return before they bag up for the night.

MacPhee Raises Boujenah

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

We arrived in time to see Ilan Boujenah and Kevin MacPhee looking down at a completed board of {7-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}. With over 18,000 already in the middle, Boujenah put out a river bet of 11,700. This would not deter MacPhee, however, who cut out a raise to 28,800 total.

Boujenah peered back at his hand, thought for a moment, and then kicked his cards into the muck. In the process, he flashed the {A-Diamonds} to MacPhee and the rest of the table.

MacPhee gave him merely a wry smile in return as he scooped up the pot and added to his stack. MacPhee now sits on about 94,000 in chips.

Persaud Busted

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Nik Persaud has been eliminated, he fired the turn of a {K-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{6-Clubs} board before shoving the {2-Diamonds} river. Sven Wendt called him down and Persaud talbed {K-Spades}{4-Hearts} but couldn't beat his opponent's {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}, the latter having checked back the flop with his set.

Increased Wattage

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Steven Watts had opened preflop with Paul Testud calling before Conor Beresford squeezed all in out of the blinds. Watts reshoved and Testud quickly called off his 60,000 stack as well.

Watts: {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}
Beresford: {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}
Testud: {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}

The board came {J-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and Watts' hand was still the best and he was able to eliminate both other players.

Big Pot For Moorman

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Chris Moorman
Chris Moorman

We arrived at the table to see the cards had reached the turn and were neatly laid out on the blue felt reading {9-Spades}{5-Clubs}{q-Spades}{8-Hearts}. Chris Moorman had a bet of 24,000 placed out in front of him.

Javier Tazon was his opponent and the raise in front of him was 57,000. Moorman was lost in thought as the TV cameras crowded round to see what his reaction would be. A further minute ticked by before he pushed out all but his lowest denomination chips. It didn’t take long for Tazon to relinquish his cards.

“One card. Must be one you could show.” pleaded Igor Kurganov who was also at his table. Moorman showed the {a-Spades}

Haxton Hits The Rail

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Isaac Haxton
Isaac Haxton

PokerStars Team Online Ike Haxton has just been knocked out and he's headed off to the EPT Live commentary booth later tonight to provide the poker fans with some of his analysis.

Haxton told us how he moved all in from the small blind for 23,000 after a player in middle position had raised. Haxton's opponent had been quite active with mediocre holdings the Team Online member explained, but this time he had found ace-king.

Haxton's king-nine did not improve and he hit the rail here on Day 2.

Hanging Around Table 'What Might Have Been'

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Dominik Panka
Dominik Panka

There was a ridiculous table this afternoon at EPT London, with Benny Spindler, Johnny Lodden Theo Jorgensen, Dominik Panka and Sam Trickett all drawn alongside one another. But for annoying, but legitimate, poker reasons, it's couldn't go on EPT Live. PokerStars Blog loitered around the table for a bit, so click through to learn what happened on Table "Oh, what might have been".
