On a flop of , Simon Deadman had called Marko Neumann's initial 6,500 bet before Viacheslav Goryachev check-raised to 15,000. Neumann got out of the way and Deadman set the Russian all in for his remaining chips.

The on the turn gave Goyachev some additional outs and the on the river secured his double up. Deadman remains ove the quarter-million mark though.
Spanish pro Andoni Larrabe, who plays on PokerStars under the handle 'Pollopopeye', has just been knocked out. The November Niner got his final 30,000 chips into the middle before the flop and he was called by Miltiadis Kyriakides.
Kyriakides:
Larrabe:
The board ran out and Larrabe shook some hands as he received good luck wishes for November while he exited the tournament room.
The completed board read when we found Maximos Pertsinidis and Simon Deadman engaged in a sizable hand. With well over 60,000 piled in the middle of the table, Pertsinidis checked over to Deadman.
Deadman reached into his chip stack and came out with a bet of 50,000. This bet sent Pertsinidis deep into the tank as it was a solid chunk of his own remaining chips. Almost four minutes passed in silence while Pertsinidis contemplated what to do.
"I call," said Pertsinidis, pushing a large stack of chips past the betting line.
Deadman confidently rolled over for quad jacks and the stone cold nuts. Pertsinidis' hand was thrown to the muck and Deaman was awarded a pot that brought his stack to right around 300,000.
Alfie Adam was in the cut-off and checked it over to Steven Watts on the button with the board reading and one more card to come. Watts made a bet of 27,000 but it turned out Adam was going nowhere and put out the call.
The river card was the and Adam went for a bet of 32,000. Watts took out his earphones and started to puzzle it out. He counted down his remaining stack of around 88,000 and finally said, “I’m beating tens and that’s it.” Watts mucked his hand.
Javier Contreras open-jammed from the small blind preflop and Jackey Ladny snap-called from the big blind, the Spaniard immediately knew he was in trouble.
Contreras:
Ladny:
The board came to save Contreras and he doubled while Ladny was crippled with barely two big blinds left.
Usually when reading a title like this you can expect there to be a huge pot, but not this time. Chris Moorman raised from the button and Jakub Szczotka called from the big blind.
The flop came down and Szczotka check-called 4,200 chips.
On the turn the hit and both players checked. The river was the and Szczotka checked to Moorman again who paused for a second before checking behind.
Szczotka showed but his set was no good against Moorman's .
Moorman later explained that he didn't want to get check-raised on the river, something that had happened to him a few hours ago.
Sam Trickett opened the pot for 4,000 and when Vu Pham moved all in for around 12,000 there was probably very little, if anything, in Trickett’s range that he was folding to such a bet. Indeed when it got back round to him he threw in the chips and flipped over his . Pham’s tournament life rested on his holding up.
An emphatic flop of saw Pham rise from his chair, and even though the turn gave him four more outs the river saw his chips passed over to Trickett.
