Day 1c of the Eureka Main Event Gets Underway at Noon

The Pokerstars European Poker Tour Cyprus continues today with the third of six opening flights in the Eureka Main Event, which kicks off today at 12 p.m. and plays out at the Merit Royal Diamond Hotel Casino & Spa.

After Day 1a saw 220 entries, combined with 162 from Day 1b, it makes a current cumulative total of 382 with four flights still to go. It's Russia's Sergei Bortsov who holds the current chip lead after he bagged up an impressive stack of 598,000 after making it through Day 1a.

Each player that enters will start with 30,000 chips with the blinds starting at Level 1 (100/100 with a 100 big blind ante), and the clock is set at 40 minutes throughout the day. Players can enter a maximum of twice per flight.

Registration will remain open until the start of Level 11, which should be around 8:30 p.m., after the 65-minute dinner break. If players don't make it through today's Day 1c, there are still three more flights they can enter to try and run up a stack for Day 2, which will take place on Saturday, October 12.
