Saccucci Makes the Nuts on the River

Level 25 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Jordan Saccucci {k-Clubs}{q-Spades} opened for 90,000 from early position. Fabrice Bigot {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts} called in the small blind, as did Parker Talbot {9-Hearts}{7-Spades} in the big blind.

The blinds checked the {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}{k-Spades} flop, and Saccucci continued for 130,000. Bigot made the call, and Talbot folded.

The turn came the {6-Spades}. Bigot checked again. Saccucci checked behind after picking up the flush draw.

The river fell the {3-Spades}, giving Bigot two pair, but improving Saccucci to a flush. Bigot led for 100,000, just under 20 percent pot. With the nuts, Saccucci raised to 500,000. Bigot thought for a while before folding.
