Seiji More Than Doubles

Level 13 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Steve O'Dwyer raised to 16,000 and Rodrigo Seiji pushed all-in for 69,000 from one seat over in the hijack. Daniel Dvoress in the small blind asked for an exact count and then pushed all-in over the top. Now it was up to O'Dwyer to ask for a count and Dvoress' shove was for 136,000, which proved to be too much for O'Dwyer.

Rodrigo Seiji: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Daniel Dvoress: {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}

The {10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{j-Spades}{6-Clubs} runout gave Dvoress a set but Seiji escaped thanks to the fourth club on the board.

Mateos Runs Out of Chips

Level 13 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Adrian Mateos
Adrian Mateos

After holding a comfortable chip lead at the dinner break, Adrian Mateos saw things turn for the worse in a short time. The Spaniard was down to just 72,000 chips and moved all in from under the gun. Alex Kulev re-shoved all in from the small blind and the two hands were tabled.

Adrian Mateos: {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Alex Kulev: {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}

The flop of {9-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades} provided no help for Mateos who was looking for some picture cards. The {2-Diamonds} and {9-Clubs} runout also bricked out and Mateos was eliminated.

Thorel Picks the Wrong Time to Jam

Level 13 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Pablo Brito Silva raised to 18,000 in the cutoff and Jean-Noel Thorel jammed all in for 107,000 on the button. The blinds folded and Brito Silva called to put Thorel at risk.

Jean-Noel Thorel: {j-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Pablo Brito Silva: {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

The flop came {k-Spades}{9-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and Brito Silva took a big lead with a pair of kings. The {q-Hearts} on the turn gave Thorel some outs but the {a-Hearts} on the river was not one of them.

Kisacikoglu Busts; Kulev Doubles

Level 13 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Orpen Kisacikoglu
Orpen Kisacikoglu

Pablo Brito Silva defended the big blind to then check-shove a {j-Hearts}{7-Spades}{2-Clubs}{10-Clubs} turn into a bet worth 16,000 by Orpen Kisacikoglu. The latter called all-in and was trailing once the cards were revealed.

Orpen Kisacikoglu: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}
Pablo Brito Silva: {j-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}

The two pair of the Brazilian prevailed as the {8-Diamonds} river was a blank.

At the same time one table over, Adrian Mateos opened to 16,000 in the hijack. Alex Kulev pushed all-in for 129,000 on the button and Mateos asked for an exact count before he called for more than half of his stack.

Alex Kulev: {k-Spades}{j-Spades}
Adrian Mateos: {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}

Both players flopped a straight draw on {10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} but the {7-Clubs} turn and {3-Diamonds} river runout ensured a double-up for Kulev with king-jack high.

Dvoress Doubles, Then Adds More

Level 13 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Daniel Dvoress ripped all in for 48,000 from under the gun and Fedor Holz called from the small blind to put him at risk.

Daniel Dvoress: {a-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}
Fedor Holz: {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}

The board ran out {a-Spades}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{k-Diamonds} and Dvoress doubled up with the better of the two pairs.

On the next hand, Pablo Brito Silva opened to 20,000 from under the gun and Jean-Noel Thorel called on his left. Dvoress shoved all in again for just over 100,000 and both Brito Silva and Thorel quickly folded.

Heath Chips Up Without Showdown

Level 13 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Alex Kulev min-raised preflop right before the blinds went up and he was called by Ben Heath in the big blind. On a {8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop, Heath opted to check-call a bet worth 14,000 and both checked the {k-Clubs} turn as they stared on the board and each other without showing any emotions whatsoever.

Heath then bet the {10-Spades} river for 61,000 and Kulev mulled it over for 25 seconds before folding.

Holz Doubles, Lefrancois Busts

Level 12 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Fedor Holz
Fedor Holz

Fedor Holz raised to 13,000 in the cutoff and Daniel Dvoress three-bet shipped all in from the big blind. Holz called off his stack of 139,000 and the cards were on their backs.

Fedor Holz: {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Daniel Dvoress: {j-Spades}{10-Spades}

The board ran out {4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and Holz made a wheel to score the double-up.

On the next hand, Pascal Lefrancois shipped all in for 37,000 in the cutoff and Pablo Brito Silva looked him in the big blind.

Pascal Lefrancois: {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Pablo Brito Silva: {a-Spades}{4-Spades}

The flop of {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{5-Spades} put Silva way out front with trip aces. The {q-Clubs} on the turn and the {j-Clubs} on the river were not enough to save Lefrancois from elimination.
