Hands #102 - #109: Reichenstein Finds His Form

Level 35 : 200,000/400,000, 50,000 ante

Hand #102: Malec raised to 1,050,000 with {9-Spades}{5-Spades} from the button. Reichenstein made it 3,000,000 with pocket queens and that was folded to by his opponent.

Hand #103: Malec and Reichenstein headed to a flop after a pre-flop raise of 1,050,000 again from Malec's was called. Malec had {10-Clubs}{8-Spades} and led again on the flop against Reichenstein's {10-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} as the flop fell {8-Clubs}{J-Spades}{3-Diamonds}. On the turn of {10-Hearts} , Malec's bet of 6.5 million got a fold, meaning chip counts were dead level at 26 million chips each.

Hand #104: Reichenstein saw {A-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and decided to raise. He took the pot.

Hand #105: Malec looked down at {K-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} and it was another 'raise and take'.

Hand #106: Malec called with {Q-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} and Reichenstein checked with {10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} The two men saw a flop of {2-Spades}{8-Spades}{8-Diamonds} which Malec c-bet and took down.

Hand #107: Another Malec hand as he held {K-Hearts}{9-Spades} against Reichenstein's {Q-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} . The flop of {10-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{3-Spades} got two checks, as did the {2-Hearts} turn. On the {2-Diamonds} river, Malec bet 1.3m
and after a quick call, Reich won the pot.

Hand #108: Malec had {J-Diamonds}{5-Spades} on the button and raised to 1,050,000. Reichenstein three-bet with {Q-Spades}{3-Spades} and Malec folded, meaning chips had already swung back in the German's favour to 31.1m against Malec's 22.25 million.

Hand #109: Reichenstein raised to 1,000,000 with {Q-Spades}{7-Hearts} and took it down.

Hand #110: Malec made it 1,050,000 on the button with {A-Spades}{5-Clubs} and Reichenstein three-bet out of position with {4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} Malec folded, saying 'next time'. A smile from Reichenstein. He has had terrible cards but put himself back in pole position... against the Polish player.

Hand #98 - #102: Malec Shoves, Draws Even

Sebastian Malec
Sebastian Malec

Hand #98: Uri Reichenstein raised to 1,000,000 with {8-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and Sebastian Malec defended with {K-Spades}{8-Diamonds}. The flop was {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and Malec check-called a 900,000 bet from Reichenstein.

Malec checked the {2-Diamonds} to Reichenstein, who fired a second barrel of 1,900,000. Malec once again called, having just king high.

The river {4-Diamonds} gave both players a flush, but Malec's was higher to ship the pot.

Hand #99: Malec limped in with {Q-Clubs}{10-Spades} and Reichenstein checked {A-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}. On the {K-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop, both players checked. The {2-Clubs} on the turn gave Reichenstein a wheel. He bet just 500,000, which got called.

The river {7-Hearts} didn't improve Malec, and he folded to a 2,300,000 bet from Reichenstein.

Hand #100: Reichenstein raised to 1,000,000 with {10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}, Malec three-bet {K-Clubs}{2-Clubs} to 3,600,000, and Reichenstein quickly folded.

Hand #101: Reichenstein got a walk.

Hand #102: Reichenstein raised to 1,000,000, Malec three-bet again, this time to 3,000,000 with {3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}. Reichenstein called with {8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and paired up on the {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop.

Malec took quite a while before cutting out a 4,000,000 bet. Reichenstein called, building the pot up to over 14,000,000 in chips.

The turn brought the {J-Diamonds} and Malec quickly shoved for 11,100,000. Reichenstein thought about it for thirty seconds, then released the best holding. Malec couldn't hold himself back and slammed the pocket threes open, raking in the huge pot.

He needed it.
