Bullock Good with Ace-High

Level 8 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

The board read J4346 with around 50,000 in the middle when Jason Bullock checked it over to Schuyler Thornton who fired out for 27,000.

After some thought, Bullock slid out a stack of chips to signify a call, at which point he heard Thornton utter the sweetest words in poker...

"You're good,"

Thornton flipped over Q8 for just queen-high and Bullock tabled A2 for ace-high to take down the substantial pot.

Thornton was then left short but managed to double up the next hand with deuces and is sitting at 45,000.

Not Your Typical Chop

Level 7 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

On a heads-up completed board of 933Q8, there was close to 45,000 in the pot when Zachary Vuong checked and then Dedric Williams moved all in to cover him.

After tanking for over thirty seconds, Vuong tossed out a chip to make the call and flipped over 77 for just a pair of sevens. Much to his and everyone else's surprise, Williams also tabled 77 for the exact same hand. The two players shared a laugh as the table shook their heads in disbelief and they chopped up the pot.

Mann Doubles Up

Level 6 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

On a flop of 929, David Mann moved all in and Brenda Threadgill called to put him at risk.

Mann flipped over A5 for the nut flush draw while Threadgill tabled KQ for an inferior flush draw.

The board ran out 25 for Mann to hit a five on the river to scoop the pot, although his ace-high was already good.
