2017 Cash Game Festival London
Day 4 Completed
While all eyes were on the battle between William Kassouf and Terry Jordon after some pregame banter at the €2/€5 no-limit hold'em table, Jordon finished down a little while Kassouf broke about even.
After two days at the Cash Game Festival, Kassouf appeared hooked and said he would try to attend the Cash Game Festival when it returns to Tallinn, Estonia in November.
Nordicbet player Jon Kyte stole the spotlight from Kassouf and Jordon by winning £4,265 or 853 big blinds to put him well in the lead in feature table contest that awards a trophy along with two hospitality packages to the Cash Game Festival Dublin at Village Green Card Club on Oct. 11-15.
Also performing well was Karolis who won a few buy-ins and was back playing at side tables and celebrating with friends including Julija.
Sin Menis Melin is a fixture at Aspers Casino and is known to not only to love poker but to have a good time.
She came into the beer pong contest pumped and ready to go. In the first contest, her opponent needed to sink just one cup while Melin's team needed to still sink five cups. Melin pumped it into another gear and nailed all of the last five cups by herself to secure her team a win.
Melin and her partner were warming up with drinks well before the contest. Her partner opted to sit out, however, this didn't deter Melin as she picked up Jack Fenton up from the bench after he lost his first match in a huge upset.
Fenton found his rhythm and was able to help Melin secure the title in the finals. While we can't credit Fenton as a back-to-back champ since he was technically eliminated, the crown does go to Melin, who showed she can thrive under pressure both on and away from the poker tables.
The VIP beer-pong party has just begun at the Bat & Ball. Jack Fenton will be there to defend his title he secured during the Cash Game Festival when it was last in London in February.
Some of the others to confirm they will be attending include Sin Menis Melin, Peter La Terra, Daniel Straume, Ryan Mularkey, Daniel Nasman and Kalle Fagerstrom.
The action at the 2017 Cash Game Festival London is still heating up. However, If you were unable to make it out to Aspers Casino in east London, rest assured you do not have to wait long if you want to enjoy the next festival.
For the first time, the Cash Game Festival heads to Dublin at the Village Green Card Club from Oct. 11-15 for another five days of nonstop cash game action. The festival is expected to attract many players from around the globe thanks to the ease of getting to the Irish capital and the growing reputation of the poker event.
You can register in advance on the Cash Game Festival website to reserve your seat and to request to appear on the televised feature table.
Here's a look at a trailer of the festival:
The action continues to grow at Aspers Casino on Saturday night as there are now 19 cash game tables in action.
Here is a look at the mix:
The very first hand of the £2/£5 no-limit hold'em televised feature table, Lithuanian traveling cash game poker pro Karolis doubled off Terry Jordon after the duo got it all in for their stacks of £500.
Jordon with ace-queen found himself in a world of trouble against the pocket aces held by Karolis and was unable to catch up. Karolis, who is never nervous playing on side tables, found himself with some jitters and was able to relax after winning the hand.
Meanwhile, Jordon, who seems to thrive under the spotlight shook it off.
The £2/£5 no-limit hold'em feature table has just kicked off. William Kassouf and Terry Jordon who are friends off the poker tables, had some words about who would be owning who over social media leading up to the match.
The duo is obviously having fun as are the rest of the table the first few hands.

Ryan "Metalface" Davey finished the feature table with some profit but it could have been a lot more.
He flopped two-pair on a board in a hand he opened up preflop with and his opponent led out for a bet. A non-spade appeared on the turn and his opponent fired another bet and Davey called again.
A completed the board on the river. Davey's opponent shoved for about £800, which more than had Davey covered. If Davey called he would have notched up over £1,400 in profit on the session. This would have placed him in the lead in the feature table contest by a considerable margin.
Davey instead folded and found out later his opponent was bluffing the entire way. He then shared with us his thought process on the river where he felt there were too many hands that could beat him to call off.
While Metalface was recounting the hand to PokerNews after the session, we reminded him that if he called and won he would have won a hospitality package for two to the Cash Game Festival Dublin at the Village Green Card Club from Oct. 11-15 valued at €400.
Davey seemed gutted by this news, however, he thought for a minute that it was for a full Cash Game Festival Dublin package valued at €1,500 that are being given away to jackpot winners. Although Davey does want the hospitality package as well, he did share his relief that he wasn't automatically priced in with top two pair in that situation with €1,500 in value on top of a pot worth almost as much.
Another table just opened and Daniel Näsman was one of the players to snag himself a seat. He shared he enjoyed some time with Kalle Fagerström, whom he traveled to London with from Sweden in the afternoon and was ready for a big session barring eating some dinner in the near future.
