Bulgaria's Stefan Bratanov notched up a profit of £448 representing 224 big blinds in profit during the £1/£2 no-limit hold'em table. While this doesn't put him in contention for the trophy and the two hospitality packages for the Cash Game Festival Dublin on Oct. 11-15, it does make his wallet a bit fatter.

Sweet 16

There are 16 tables in action at the moment across a variety of games including no-limit hold'em, dealers-choice pot-limit Omaha and no-limit hold'em.

Here's a look at the mix:

  • £1/£1 no-limit hold'em - eight tables (including one qiktable)
  • £1/£2 no-limit hold'em - five tables (including one feature table and one qiktable)
  • £1/£2 Sviten Special - one table
  • £1/£2 pot-limit Omaha - one table
  • £2/£5 no-limit hold'em

Tables are opening at a fast pace and there are now 15 running with more ready to open.

Among the new tables is a £1/£2 Sviten Special table with Jack Fenton, Peter La Terra and Aigars Dambrens among the players.

La Terra was here late, but got a few hours rest while Fenton who is known for his 72+ hour sessions decided that sleep wasn't important last night.

We also ask Fenton whether he would be defending his beer pong title later today during the VIP party and he shared as of now he will likely give it a go.

Mrs. Metalface Joins the Commentary

Fay Davey & Brandon Allen

Ryan Davey, who is otherwise known as Metalface online, has been guest commentating with Brandon Allen throughout the Cash Game Festival London.

As we previously mentioned, Metalface is now competing at the feature table. His wife, Fay Davey, who we affectionately refer to as Mrs. Metalface came into town earlier today. She was out doing a little shopping, but just came back to the casino and is now taking her turn as a guest commentator.

Ryan Davey, aka Metalface, has been commentating all week on the live stream with host Brandon Allen. He is now taking his turn in front of a different set of cameras as a player in Seat 1 on the £1/£2 no-limit hold'em feature table.

Finland's Sampsa Ala-Pietilä in Seat 2 spends half his year in Thailand and the other half in his home country as a truck driver. He is attending the Cash Game Festival London thanks to his brother winning a package at NordicBet.

France's Alexandre Vuilleumier is appearing for the second time at a feature table in Seat 3.

England's Nick Secker is making his first Cash Game Festival feature table appearance in Seat 5. He was playing poker all night and is looking to make a big run in front of the lights and cameras. Bulgaria's Stefan Bratanov is also making his first Cash Game Festival feature table appearance in Seat 6.

Norway's Jorg Bru, who is here with Tove Janne Kristiansen, rounds off the table in Seat 8. Bru learned about the Cash Game Festival while on vacation in Sunny Beach and grinded during Cash Game Festival Bulgaria for more than 10 hours per day. He also appeared at the feature table during that experience.

Bru shared with us before he popped on the feature table that he won a tournament last night and is happy to be back at the Cash Game Festival after having a good experience last month.

You can check out the game in action at the Cash Game Festival Twitch channel or by clicking on the Live Stream tab in our PokerNews coverage.

The Return of William Kassouf and Terry Jordon

William Kassouf
William Kassouf

Players at the Cash Game Festival love playing with William Kassouf and Terry Jordon.

Kassouf, who tried his hand at Sviten Special last night after appearing on the feature table needs no introduction after becoming famous during the 2016 World Series of Poker Main Event. Jordan, who appeared on feature tables during the past two days, told Kassouf about his experience and he made his CGF debut in fine fashion creating a great environment for both himself and the rest of the table.

Meanwhile, players perhaps like playing with Jordan for slightly different reasons. While it is true Jordan is charismatic in his own right, he does like to play close to every hand preflop including with hole cards such as 9-4 offsuit to provide plenty of action at the table.

Both players will appear on tonight's £2/£5 no-limit hold'em feature table which you will be able to watch in a few hours on a 20-minute delay with hole cards at at the Cash Game Festival Twitch channel or by clicking on the Live Stream tab in our PokerNews coverage.

Who Will Win the Trophy?

John
John

Like every Cash Game Festival, the current edition is hosting 10 televised feature tables hosted by Brandon Allen. However, what makes this festival different is for the first time the Cash Game Festival is awarding a trophy and a pair of hospitality packages to the Cash Game Festival Dublin at Village Green Card Club valued at €400 to the player that wins the most big blinds in a single feature table session.

Currently, a player that asked to just be referred to as John is in the lead after winning a huge profit of £2,523 or 504.6 big blinds during Day 1's late £2/£5 pot-limit Omaha feature table. There are still four feature tables left to go, so the big prize is still up for grabs.

Here is a look at the big winners of the first six feature tables.
