Michael Addamo Bubbles the $25,000 Challenge

Level 14 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Michael Addamo
Michael Addamo

Michael Addamo opened the action with a raise on the button and Ben Lamb three-bet big out of the small blind, making it 75,000 to go. Addamo called and the flop fell {K-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades}. Lamb, who has been playing very aggressive throughout the first two levels of the day, continued for 41,000 and Addamo called.

On the {J-Clubs} turn, Lamb suddenly checked and Addamo bet 25,000 with some 220,000 behind. Lamb moved all in with the superior stack and Addamo tanked for more than five minutes, and two minutes into the first scheduled break of the day. Ultimately, Addamo called and the cards were turned over.

Michael Addamo: {Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts}
Ben Lamb: {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}

Addamo was the player at risk and in need of help, but the {8-Spades} river was a blank to let the bubble burst.

Jonathan Karamalikis Eliminated before the Money

Level 14 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Jonathan Karamalikis
Jonathan Karamalikis

First to act, it was short stack Jonathan Karamalikis that moved all in for 28,000 and Jack Salter from one seat over gave it some thought before folding. Michael Addamo on the button called, as did Roger Teska in the big blind. Both remaining active players checked down the board of {Q-Spades}{6-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{8-Spades} and Karamalikis flipped over {K-Hearts}{10-Spades}.

Teska had that beat with {A-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and that ended up as the winner, as Addamo only had {J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}. Once all hands on the other tables are finished, the action will continue hand-for-hand on the money bubble.

More for Lamb

Level 14 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Jack Salter raised to 13,000 on the button and Michael Addamo called in the small blind. Ben Lamb three-bet to 54,000 in the big blind, which resulted in a call by Salter and a fold from Addamo. Both players checked down the {Q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} flop and Lamb's bet of 37,000 on the {10-Spades} turn shut down all further action.

Addamo Doubles Through Karamalikis

Level 14 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Michael Addamo raised to 12,000 and Ben Lamb three-bet to 36,000. Jonathan Karamalikis four-bet all in for 183,000. Addamo moved all in for 152,000 and Lamb folded.

Michael Addamo: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Jonathan Karamalikis: {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

There was an ace in the window as the board ran out {a-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{6-Hearts} to leave Karamalikis with just over 30,000 in chips.

Danny Tang Loses Flip to Ben Lamb

Level 14 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Danny Tang
Danny Tang

Jack Salter raised to 14,000 and Ben Lamb called on the button. Out of the small blind, Danny Tang moved all in for his last 77,000 and Salter quickly folded. Lamb asked for a count and called moments later.

Danny Tang: {K-Hearts}{Q-Spades}
Ben Lamb: {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}

Neither the flop of {J-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} nor the {8-Diamonds} turn helped Tang and some of outs were gone as Lamb had a diamond in his hand. The {2-Diamonds} river gave Lamb a flush and Tang became the third casualty of the day.

Yoon Takes From Huber

Level 14 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Brian Yoon
Brian Yoon

Brian Yoon's raise to 14,000 triggered a three-bet to 45,000 by Stefan Huber in the cutoff and Yoon called. The {J-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop brought a check by Yoon, a bet of 30,000 by Huber and a call by the three-time WSOP bracelet winner. There was no betting action on the {J-Spades} turn and Yoon then bet the {6-Clubs} river to force a fold from Huber.

Yotsushika Doubles Through Segebrecht...Again

Level 14 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Mustapha Kanit raised to 14,000 and Kazuhiko Yotsushika called on the button. Claas Segebrecht three-bet to 62,000 in the big blind. Kanit folded and Yotsushika called.

The flop was {5-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Spades}. Segebrecht bet 125,000, effectively putting Yotsushika all in for his last 91,500. Yotsushika called.

Kazuhiko Yotsushika: {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}
Claas Segebrecht: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}

The turn {q-Spades} and river {q-Hearts} didn't help Segebrecht and Yotsushika doubled through his German opponent for the second time today.

Segebrecht Doubles Through Yotsushika

Level 14 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Claas Segebrecht
Claas Segebrecht

While Kazuhiko Yotsushika had been able to chip back up, all the progress was canceled soon after when he clashed with Claas Segebrecht. After a raise to 15,000 by Yotsushika, Segebrecht three-bet to 43,000 and Yotsushika called. On the {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop, Yotsushika checked from under the gun and called a continuation bet worth 32,000.

Both checked the {10-Clubs} on the turn and Yotsushika's bet of 50,000 on the {3-Clubs} river resulted in the shove of Segebrecht for 132,500. Yotsushika called, but quickly mucked his {K-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} for the second nut flush after Segebrecht had turned over his {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts} for the nut flush.

Marius Gierse Rivered to Bust $25,000 Challenge

Level 14 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Marius Gierse
Marius Gierse

Stefan Huber raised to 15,000 from under the gun. Marius Gierse had been patiently nursing a shortstack for the entire day, having come into Day 2 with just 11 big blinds, and moved all in around 48,000. Huber called.

Stefan Huber: {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Marius Gierse: {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}

Gierse looked good for most of the hand until the King hit {5-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{7-Clubs}{k-Hearts} meaning he was sent to the rail in 18th place.
