Fast Takes from Jarvis

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

Dietrich Fast raised to 650 and picked up four callers to see the flop {9-Spades}{K-Spades}{6-Spades}. All five players checked and Adam Jarvis then bet the {K-Hearts} turn for 1,500. Only Fast called and checked again the {3-Diamonds} river.

Jarvis bet 4,500 for most of Fast's stack and the German called after brief consideration with {9-Hearts}{10-Hearts} to claim the pot versus {6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}.

Henrik Tollefsen Eliminated in 7th Place ($5,165)

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante
Henrik Tollefsen
Henrik Tollefsen

Adam Jarvis raised to 700 from early position and Henrik Tollefsen moved all in for 6,500 from one seat over. Jarvis snap-called with the {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs} and had the dominating kicker to the {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} of his opponent. "That's not a good flop," Tollefsen said when he saw {A-Spades}{J-Clubs}{8-Spades} coming. Neither the {J-Diamonds} turn nor {6-Spades} river changed anything and Tollefsen was sent to the rail.

Tollefsen Doubles

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

From early position, Henrik Tollefsen moved all in for 11 big blinds and Dietrich Fast called in the big blind with {A-Spades}{4-Spades}. Tollefsen was behind with {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}, but found some help on the flop {Q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{2-Hearts}. Both turn and river bricked, as the dealer already rushed away the cards and shipped the pot to the Norwegian before moving to the next hand.

Chance Kornuth Eliminated in 8th Place ($4,520)

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante
Chance Kornuth
Chance Kornuth

Chance Kornuth opened to 700 from early position and Nam Le three-bet to 2,000 from one seat over. Adam Jarvis called and so did Kornuth. On the flop {7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{J-Spades}, the action was checked to Le and he bet 3,100. Kornuth called and the {3-Clubs} fell on the turn.

Again, Kornuth checked and then Le fired a bet of 4,600. A split second before the time on the shot clock ran out, Kornuth announced all in and then moved forward his stack. There was some confusion about whether or not it was done in time, but Kornuth was given the benefit of the doubt and the bet stood.

The all in was for another 9,400 on top and Le called with {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}. Kornuth was behind with the {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts} and failed to improve, as the {2-Clubs} river bricked. He takes home A$4,520 for his efforts.
